Florida Landclass Scenery

File Description:
Moon over Miami. Fly the Sunshine State under a full moon or in the bright sunshine and you will see a vast improvement in the default scenery if you use the Joe Watson, Bob Brown, Florida Landclass Scenery Files. Created from the U.S. Geological Survey National Landcover Database and hand edited by Joe and Bob this is the most accurate scenery available for the State of Florida. Six individual bgls transform the default scenery into a recognizable landscape as you fly from the Keys, up the East Coast over Miami, and Fort Lauderdale then out over the Everglades on your way past Tampa to the Panhandle all the way to just east of New Orleans near Slidell and Bogalusa.

Alaskan Commuter #9: North Alaskan Skies 2002

File Description:
Enhancements to 50 land-based airports in Northern Alaska. Includes static aircraft and additional airport structures as well as easy to install landclass files. These landclass files add small villages and stands of conifers that blanket the surrounding areas. The experience can be further enhanced with autogen tree replacements by either Ed Truthan or Gerrish Gray (download separately). This will greatly improve the look of autogen conifers, and multiply their numbers significantly. The results are realistic approaches over thickly forested areas into bush airports with small nearby communities, and it is fairly gentle on frame rates. If you download this scenery, and if you are not using these replacement trees, I recommend (no, I insist) that you download one of those utilities now. Look for "conifers.zip" by Ed Truthan or "MSTrees2.zip" by Gerrish Gray.

PA-MD-VA Series, Version 3, 44 airports for FSSE V 1.51

File Description:
This is version 3 of the PAMDVA series and includes 5 new airports, new smoke stack effects, as well as updates to the other 39 airports to include FSSE V 1.51 objects. Lago's FSSE V 1.51 is required to view this scenery. Also included are sound collections for all 44 airports for use with Lago's FSSS (PAMDVASFXLIB.ZIP required to hear all sounds and available here at Avsim). Thanks to E.
