Lasham (EGHL)

File Description:
Lasham (EGHL) Scenery for FS2002, Includes AFCAD file and static Aircraft. Created by Mathias Henig (http://www.spotter.de.vu). Lasham is an airfield which was built by the Royal Air Force to train its pilots there during WWII. After the RAF left the field Dan Air London choose Lasham as their place for the maintenance and so Lasham saw many interesting aircraft (Comet, BAC 1-11, ...). With the demise of Dan Air the maintenance facilities were sold to ATC which now does maintenance for the following types: Boeing 727-100/200 Boeing 737-200/300/400/500/600/700/800 Boeing 757-200 McDonnell Douglas DC 8-55/60 More information about ATC Lasham can be found under: http://www.atclasham.co.uk Not to forget the Lasham Glider Society which is also located at the field.

DEW Line Stations for Alaska, Canada And Greenland

File Description:
This scenery is meant to capture the essence of the Distant Early Warning (DEW) Line of radar and communications stations stretching from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska across the Northern shores of Alaska and Canada into Greenland. The package includes 78 of the DEWLine stations. The DEW Line served as the early warning system for North America during the years of the cold war. Many of the stations were built in the 50’s with others added in the 60’s, 70’s and into the 80’s. Most of these installations have now been closed. Many of the objects have been modeled from photographs. Where possible, site photographs were used to insure that the layouts were as representative of the sites as possible. They are, however, representations only.

Gruyère (LSGT) for Suisse 2002

21st airport of Suisse 2002. Gruyère (Epagny) is a small airfield for aircrafts and gliders with a 800 m grass runway. It is located in one of the most beautiful area of Switzerland : the famous Gruyère, where the world known cheese comes from. This scenery has seasonal textures and changes! It includes the village of Gruyère with its castle and all usual things of Suisse 2002. *** 21è aéroport de la série Suisse 2002. New 300-m (LOD7) Terrain Mesh of British Columbia and Southeast Alaska #4

File Description:
Mid-resolution (300-m) terrain mesh for the entire province of British Columbia (950,000 square km) and the Alaska panhandle southeast of N60 W139. Made from 250m-resolution source data without oversampling. Easy on frame rates and hard drive space. It transforms the rounded mountains of the default terrain mesh into a much more realistic representation of the diverse topography of this beautiful corner of the world. Experience the spectacular scenery between Vancouver and Atlin, Juneau and Fort St. John, and Mount Robson to Clayoquot Sound. Fourteen independent mesh tiles allow you to select the region(s) you like best. Several high-resolution add-on meshes will be uploaded separately. By Holger Sandmann. Maylands Aerodrome Western Australia v1

File Description:
Maylands (subject to flooding) remained Perth’s main airport until the end of WW2. Large aircraft moved to Dunreath which became Guildford and then Perth Airport. Maylands continued to be used by light aircraft and was finally closed when Jandacot opened in the Early 60's. It then became a golf course and a Police training complex. The Hangars have been heritage listed and the field is now covered with buildings and trees. It includes a grass runway, hangars and enough of the Swan River to make the flying more fun. Maylands and Langley Park are within sight of Perth airport and can be used as a set or separately. This scenery was made using freeware Airport 2.9 Build 26 and if installed as instructed will not alter your scenery.cfg. Thanks to Steve James for his advice. Textures if required are included. Albuquerque Sunport (KABQ) South Air Freight Ramp

File Description:
This package contains a fair representation of the South Cargo/Air Freight complex on the south end of Albuquerque's Sunport International Airport. This new Air Freight complex opened a few years ago and operates daily, running cargo into and out of New Mexico in support of companies such as Eclipse Aviation, Rockwell, Sandia and Los Alamos National Labs, Kirtland AFB, Intel Corp, and also carries the art and goods made in this area to the world (hello Santa Fe Style!). Also includes ramp lights, ground support equipment, vehicles, various cargo pieces waiting for you on the ramp, and has a few other pieces of eye candy. Custom signage is modifiable for your VA's logo sign, giving you an Air Freight home in the Great Southwest. This location has night-lighted textures with a start location which can be found using the add on scenery button on your Go To Airport menu.

LEBB Bilbao-Loiu Airport V2.0

File Description:
LEBB Bilbao-Loiu airport, in Pais Vasco(to the North of Spain ). The terminal, called "La Paloma", and the tower were designed by the Arquitech Santiago Calatrava, and they are a model of a modern and nice Airport. This escenary incluid dynamics macros like hangars, finguers, docking system,... all of them were created with NovaSim, by Rafael G. Sanchez. This airport has been recommend by Julio Estefanía to be use with his fantastic Photorealistic scenery of Basque Contry, pais_vasco.zip. El Aeropuerto Bilbao-Loiu, se encuentra situado en el País Vasco (al norte de España). Su terminal, "La paloma", y su torre de control, diseñadas por el arquitecto Santiago Calatrava, permiten descubrir un moderno y bello aeropuerto. Incluye macros dinámicas como hangares, finguers, sistema de ayuda de atraque,.... creados con NovaSim, de Rafael G.Sanchez. Grafton District Airport - NSW Australia

File Description:
Grafton District Airport (YGFN) - (For 2002 only)

A delighful small airport approximately 80 nautical miles from Coffs Harbour and a slightly shorter distance to Ballina and Lismore. This makes a good stopover for hopping down the east coast of Australia.

Originally released for FS2004 (and is better in 2004) but adds realism to FS2002 default airport.

The size of the airport has allowed me to put in that extra detail which makes to terminal and surrounds very much "as in real life". Photographic textures are used throughout for the buildings and even the trees are hand made macros from photographs at the airport.

AFCAD file is included to add AI traffic. For that reason and because of limited apron space no static planes have been used. You should obtain Traffic Tools to add more AI traffic to give the airport a little more life.

The scenery concentrates on adding a realistic terminal to the airport whilst leaving much of the default runway detail unchanged.

Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base (NKP)

File Description:
A model of Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base (NKP). Situated in the far northeast corner of Thailand right across the Mekong River from Laos, NKP was the smallest, remotest, and most primitive of the Thai airbases utilized by the US Air Force. Many of the operations conducted at NKP were top-secret. NKP was the headquarters of "Task Force Alpha", the underground command center directing "Arc Light" bombing of the Ho Chi Minh trail. The 56th Air Commando Wing employed a variety of fixed wing aircraft and helicopters for interdiction, close air support, psychological warfare, search and rescue, forward air control, and clandestine insertion and extraction of special operations personnel in Laos and North Vietnam. One of the key covert missions conducted at NKP was "Operation Igloo White", which involved the planting and monitoring of electronic sensors along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Air America used NKP as a base to supply the various hill tribes in Laos. This is the fourth in a series of Vietnam War era Thai airbase models. (It was preceded by Ubon, Udorn, and Korat.) Note: This scenery requires the trees_v3.zip object library by Gerrish Gray.

Redding Municipal Airport.. Redding, CA

File Description:
KRDD(Redding Municipal Airport) is located in the beautiful city of Redding Ca. Redding is a city located in Shasta County 150 mile's north of Sacramento on Interstate-5. Redding is known as a gateway for recreation for those visiting this Northern Ca. city, Lake Shasta and Mt Lassen are just a short drive out of town. As a former resident of Redding I drove past KRDD on a daily basis,on a couple of occasion's I had the opportunity to attend the annual Redding Airshow. The airshow play's host to many of aviations finest stunt pilot's as well as one of many military jet flying team's, the USN Blue Angels have been guest of the airshow many time's. The airshow still runs to this day. KRDD is also a destination city for several major and regional air carriers, HorizonAir and United Skywest are among them. This scenery I have done as a tribute to the many mile's I have put on driving past it as well as an opportunity to give it some dignity amongst the many airports in MSFS2002. This is also my first airport project I have released. My hope is that it adds to your FS2002 experience.
