Mikonos and Ikaria Island Airports

File Description:
FS2002 Mikonos LGMK and Ikaria LGIK of the Aegean sea in Greece. Two typical summer holiday destinations in Hellas. The scenery represents Mikonos and Ikaria Island Regional Airports. Several objects like trucks, houses, stones, fences, and proper photorealistic textures have been used to make this airport as real as it gets and help the scale perception of the pilot. Special care has been taken for night lighting. Ikaria, a mountainous, thickly forested island, perpetuates the myth of Ikarus and his fall into the sea near its south shores after his bold attempt to reach the sun with his waxen wings. Mikonos in the center of Aegean sea, has been one of the best keeper of traditional Aegean architecture and is well known for it's popular golden sandy beaches and ecstatic nightlife. It is called "The island of winds" and indeed it is. Most frequent North winds have no physical barrier, all the way from Northern Greece, to weaken them and the constant seabed from there helps the increase of wind's speed by the time it reaches Mikonos. Beware of steep rising terrain and the wind gusts and downdrafts on short finals. Use this scenery preferably tohether with the free Greek Mesh Scenery by Babis Perivolas.

Hellsgate Cabin

File Description:
Hellsgate Cabin is located 100m West of Anchorage, not far from Rainy Pass. The scenery is pretty simple, not much more than a cabin and an overgrown strip, but the location is stunning. The cabin sits on a bluff overlooking three large valleys and is a perfect spot for a fly-out hunting trip or just a week-end get-away.

This is an addon for use with default scenery for FS2002. This file inserts a missing approach beacon for Charlottetown Airport (CYYG) in Canada. Inserts Golf beacon on Runway 21. File Description:
FS2002/FSSE City of Colorado Springs Municipal (KCOS), CO. Includes AFCAD aligned airport jetways, WestPac terminal with new walkway (awaiting the arrival of Southwest Airlines), lighting, static aircraft and vehicles. Lake Hood, Alaska

File Description:
This is a simple bgl that adds a series of red and green navigation buoys to Lake Hood at Anchorage. It is for use with the Nightwolf Air Services scenery for Alaska. Once you land, you cannot see the channels and slips leading to the NAS dock, so these will help you find your way and keep you in the water.

Soaring at Bishop, CA

File Description:
The mountain peaks in the area are high, the scenery is beautiful in the spring and summer and the lift is good. Come and visit the area and maybe even try to soar over to Dyer (2Q9) on the Nevada border or try to see Mammoth Yosemite (KMMH) in a sailplane. The area will make for a good weekend of soaring fun.

Cite de l'Espace

File Description:
Cite de l'Espace for FS2002. Located in Toulouse, France, close to the Lasbordes airport, the Cite de l'Espace is a park and museum dedicated to the exploration of space. It features the full scale mockups of the Ariane V and MIR as well as various other spacecraft such as Soyuz. It is recommended to use this scenery along with Lasbordes airport (LFCL2.zip).

Georgetown, SC

File Description:
Georgetown lies between Myrtle Beach and Charleston. If you fly VFR from one to the other, You'll fly over Georgetown. I have used Topozone.com to see where the business district is and the residential areas are . It is as accurate as I can make it, It covers an area approxmatly 15miles in diameter. This scenery was created with John Cillis's LandClass Assistant.

Groomlake, NV (Area 51) v1.03

File Description:
Groomlake scenery for Americas most secret Military Base. Located about 80 miles NNW of Las Vegas Groomlake provides the epicenter of UFO rumors and folklore dating back into the 1940's. Some believe there are actual Alien Craft stored here. At the very least Area 51 is a hotbed of development for the United States military. ASD 2.1 textures required.
