Willis Gliderport, 1X4.

File Description:
1X4, Willis Gliderport, now designated FA44 by the FAA is a private community airport located in Boynton Beach, Florida. It was developed by my good friend Bill Willis who was my mentor when I was learning to fly gliders with the Central Florida Soaring Club which he supported and maintained for many years. This glider club operated from this airport for many years. This scenery file for FS2002 is a tribute to Bill and all he has accomplished and for all of the people he has supported and mentored over the years and to the friendly folks who live at the gliderport. Scenery requires the Nova Textures NovaTxt1.zip, Novatxt2.zip, and Novatxt3.zip available from http://www.fsnova.com/downova.htm.

Canadian Rockies LOD 8 Mesh

File Description:
As many of you know, NASA and the JPL have recently released 3 arc second (90 meter) elevation data for most of North America. The enclosed bgl file is intended to display the data more or less as it is, covering the Canadian Rocky Mountain National Parks. Many people are probably curious about the new data, and this project has been an attempt to satisfy that curiosity in a spectacular area so far unpublished on the internet. The data yields scenery in FS 2002 that far surpasses the default scenery. The area is also well visited by many people from around the world so I expect that this terrain will be recognizable to more than a few.

Puerto Rico Landclass Update v1.1

File Description:
This scenery was created using 1974's data of the US Goverment and Terrascene. This version resolved the problem with the Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic not showing up. Also changed land class from Tropical Woods to Tropical Forest and small trees in some areas to show more Palm trees.

Jacobs Well - Heck Airstrip (ver 1) - Brisbane , Queensland

File Description:
This is a reasonable representation of Jacobs Well, a small general aviation and sport airport situated about halfway between Brisbane and Coolangatta. Jacobs Well works well in conjunstion with my previous ThomasField scenery, all being within close proximity of each other. There is a strong ultralight club based at this airport.

Chemnitz Inner City v1.1 Framerate Improvement Patch

File Description:

This patch will increase the framerate of the ChemnitzCity_v11 scenery by about 5...10 frames per second.
It also reduces the pushing of the FS2002 effects engine and prevents it from collapsing !!!
Requires the complete installation of the v1.1 !!!

Lerwick Tingwall Airport EGET

File Description:
Lerwick-Tingwall(EGET) v1.2 Scenery for FS2002, includes new photo realistic buildings and a replacement runway with the correct UK markings. All 3D structures designed using GMax from referrence photos kindly supplied by R. Arthur. It is hoped to develop this and other airports in the Shetlands in the future.
