KDFW Scenery

File Description:
This is a scenery package for KDFW optimized for online flying. It includes new terminals, gates, taxiway signs, and the new A2 terminal for American Eagle. Night textures as well as UPS and FedEx terminals also added. Frame rates stay good in this scenery package and with the taxiway signs, you can navigate the airport with confidence.

LOWL_BDA scenery

Scenery of LOWL (Linz), Austria, for FS2002. This scenery is very detailed and contains the whole civil area as well as the military area. With this scenery realism begins on ground and ends with functional airport beacon, pilot controlled military night-lighting and a various number of static aircrafts and vehicles. All buildings are designed as exact as possible. The possibility of user-definded appearance ist provided by divided bgl-files. Compatibility to Austria-Pro and Austrian Airports is given. Palisades SRTM Altitude Mesh

File Description:
Ever wanted to fly down the VFR corridor over the Hudson River and gawk at all the skyscrapers in New York City? ... in your dreams! The Department of Fatherland Security has closed it down.

But, we still have Flight Simulator. Unfortunately, the altitude mesh for this area is somewhat lacking in detail.

This Palisades altitude mesh remedies that. Covers the Palisades cliffs, of course (but no Amusement Park, sniff), and also Riverside, Morningside, and Washington Heights, and Fort Tryon. In fact, all 5 Boroughs of New York City are covered, as well as most of central and northern New Jersey (visit beautiful downtown Hoboken!), and the larger part of Long Island. Also Rockland, Westchester, Orange, Putnam counties and more. And even Bear Mountain State Park.

Approximate coverage: N40* to N42* and W73* to W75*.

Made from NASA Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data (3 arc-second resampled to LOD9 - horizontal resolution of 76.4 meters) using SRTM to BGL by Matthew Styles (available in the AvSim library.) Very easy to use - give it a try.

BONUS: includes simple instructions so that anyone can make altitude mesh for their area from SRTM data using SRTM to BGL by Matthew Styles. Sorry, SRTM data only available for the Americas at the moment. The rest of the world coming soon. Check inside for more details.

No support of any kind is offered for this package - very sorry.

Florida Landclass Scenery

File Description:
Moon over Miami. Fly the Sunshine State under a full moon or in the bright sunshine and you will see a vast improvement in the default scenery if you use the Joe Watson, Bob Brown, Florida Landclass Scenery Files. Created from the U.S. Geological Survey National Landcover Database and hand edited by Joe and Bob this is the most accurate scenery available for the State of Florida. Six individual bgls transform the default scenery into a recognizable landscape as you fly from the Keys, up the East Coast over Miami, and Fort Lauderdale then out over the Everglades on your way past Tampa to the Panhandle all the way to just east of New Orleans near Slidell and Bogalusa.

Mt. Washington Scenery

File Description:
Mt Washington, New Hampshire, is the tallest mountain in NE US at 6,288 ft and is also the place where the highest recorded wind speed occured (231 mph). On top of the mountain are weather data gathering towers and support facilities as well as visitor facilites.Nearby one will find the Lake of the Clouds AMC Shelters.This scenery is a small general representation of the facilities at the peak of Mt. Washington. The scenery was developed from memory from visiting the area this summer and is not 100% accurate. Towers, visitor buildings and support facilities as well as the lake in the Clouds Huts are represented in this scenerey.There is also an exclude area (the peak is above the tree line).A flight is als included.
