File Description:
This is part of a larger file I am uploading later this year. These are .fsn files for use with FS NAvigator and cover flights I've done in Asia, Australia and Europe. Look out for more to come from the Caribbean, Hawaii and my favourtie Long Haul flights. Not for the light hearted!!! Various aircraft used, all comercial passenger jets.

File Description:
An FS2002 GPS flight Plan by the Ancient Brit. The 54th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Kulusuk (BGKK) runway 11, Greenland and arrive 1 hour 49 minutes later at Iqaluit (CYFB) runway 35, Northwest Territory, Canada. The climb to cruise is preceded by a low level (500 ft) departure that winds its way through the mountains of the Stromfjord. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

Val-U-Prop On-Site Flights (March 03)

File Description:
Included are a couple dozen flights that appeared on the Val-U-Prop VA web site in March, 2003. All contain headings, navaids, etc. in a wordpad text document that you can copy and print. Most flights are in the Midwest, California and New England, and many have valuable tips on navigation, flying the DC-3, etc. Included are also the first six legs of the BeerLeague Around the World in a DC-3 flight that Val-U-Prop is sponsoring. These flights can be ATC controlled in FS2002, or flown as VOR to VOR flights in FS98/FS2000. They will take you from Vancouver, all the way to San Juan Puerto Rico.

Multi Stop Plans from Boston To KBMG

File Description:
This is a multi-stop flight that goes from Boston; to La Guardia (NYC); to Washington National (with instructions for R19 LDA approach and vectors so you don't get shot down) then on to Pittsburgh and finally, Bloomington, IN. FS2002 users can put the flight plans in the "myflts" subfolder of the "Flights" folder and have ATC, GPS, etc. FS98 and FS2000 users can simply follow the flight plan text. File Description:
An FS2002 GPS flight Plan by the Ancient Brit. The 47th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Zurich (LSZH) runway 14, Switzerland and arrive 1 hour 36 minutes later at Orly (LFPO) runway 07, Paris, France. A slow winding climb through an Alpine valley is followed by a tour of the mountaintop before climbing to cruise. An early descent takes you over the centre of Paris past the Eiffel Tower and into a sweeping approach to finals. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

48RTWest

File Description:
An FS2002 GPS flight Plan by the Ancient Brit. The 48th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Orly (LFPO) runway 07, Paris, France and arrive 56 minutes later at Southend (EGMC) runway 24, UK. The departure takes you for a low level tour of Paris past the Eiffel Tower before climbing to cruise for the short trip to Southend. Southend is famous for its cockles, whelks, mussels and jellied eels. You will enjoy yourself there. Don’t forget to walk along the pier wearing your “Kiss me Quick” hat. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

'On the Road' Cross-Country Flight Plans

File Description:
Flight Plans for a Cross-Country Flight following the route of Sal Paradise' 1st journey to the West Coast and back from Kerouac's famous novel: "On the Road". 2 alternative routes: "Jet Route" uses only international airports, "Prop Route" uses mostly regional / municipal / city airports (more stops). Depart Reykjavik (BIRK) runway 20, Iceland and arrive 1 hour 55 minutes later at Kulusuk (BGKK) runway 11, Greenland. The departure takes you for a low level tour over and between mountains, climbs to cruise then descends for another low level tour over and between mountains before finishing with a VFR landing on a short gravel runway (Hand holding instructions given). The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

BeerLeg2: Metro Oakland to Tucson International

File Description:
The Beerleague Val-U-Proppers have completed their second leg and this is it. You may fly this as an ATC Vectored flight, or (for fs98 and fs2000 users) a VOR to VOR IFR flight, or you can use GPS. We don't care - just don't damage the airplane. You'll fly down the central valley of California and over the High Sierras into Arizona and on to Tucson. File contains all navaids, and an ATC Flight Planner flight that FS2002 users can put in the "myflts" subfolder of the Flight folder and it will come up in Flight Planner. By James Underwood
