An FS2002 GPS flight Plan by the Ancient Brit. The 48th in a series of Round the World flight plans for the FS2002 default scenery. Depart Orly (LFPO) runway 07, Paris, France and arrive 56 minutes later at Southend (EGMC) runway 24, UK. The departure takes you for a low level tour of Paris past the Eiffel Tower before climbing to cruise for the short trip to Southend. Southend is famous for its cockles, whelks, mussels and jellied eels. You will enjoy yourself there. Don’t forget to walk along the pier wearing your “Kiss me Quick” hat. The flight briefing (Word and text) is for the default B737-400; it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.

Depart Southend (EGMC) runway 24, UK and arrive 1 hour 54 minutes later at Stornoway (EGPO) runway 36, Scotland. Following a low level pass over London Town to see the sights, Heathrow is viewed on the way to Windsor Castle where the climb to cruise begins. An early descent for a low level tour of the Inner Hebrides with a chance to see that most rare and endangered animal, The Lesser Spotted Haggis, finishes with a VFR finals (Handholding instructions given).. The parks are beautiful with a basic FS2K2 installation, but with the FSGenesis 38.2m and/or 9.6m enhanced terrain meshes, they can be spectacular.

Historic: Flight 19, the 'Lost Patrol'

File Description:
December 5th 1945: The war in the Pacific made the topography of the Bahamas with its unlimited landmarks, ideal for advanced over water navigation exercises. Like all others training daily out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Flight 19 was to perform a fairly simple navigation problem. At 14:10 that afternoon 5 Avenger Torpedo Bombers departed the Station and never made it back. File includes aircraft (CFS2 default AI Avenger converted for Fs2002 and packaged to fit the flight), flight weather(local-global) based on descriptions and map of navigation problem No1 available to pilot at all times from panel via SWIFT+3.
