United Kingdom Tour

Amelia Earhart's 1937 World Flight Commemorative

File Description:
Here is a set of FS2002 flights to commemorate Amelia Earhart's ill-fated 1937 World Flight. She and Navigator Fred Noonan disappeared on 2 July 1937 on their 2224 nm flight from Lae, New Guinea to Howland Island. They had already completed 19,000 nm. There are two options for flying these flights, a 29-leg version matching Earhart's with leg lengths up to 20 hours or a 107-leg version with an average leg length of one and a half hours. Best to fly this commemorative with the Lockheed Electra L10E, but can be flown by other twin-engine aircraft with less realism. Simple one-step installation. Extensive notes accompany the flight descriptions. Includes scenery for airports not available in FS2002.

Flight Plan Database for the British Isles

File Description:
Emerald Air Flight Plan Database for the British Isles. Contains up-to-date Flight Plans for all Emerald Air flights within and between the UK and Ireland - almost 500 flight plans in Excel sheet format (for submitting FP to the VATSIM/IVAO controllers), in FS Navigator 4.x format (for FMS navigation), and in FS2002/FS2004 Flight Planner formats (for submitting FP to the built-in ATC and for GPS navigation). The flight plans are based on the latest real world flight plans and SID/STAR charts and require AIRAC 0901 or later.

World Flight 8

File Description:
This is the 8th flight. Also it's the first flight with the Grumman Goose. For FS 2002-User I recommend the Goose from Mike Stone. For FS 2004-User I recommend the Goose from Bill Lyons. Both are Freeware. The flight goes from St. John's Intl. to Halifax Intl.

Concorde Flight Plans

File Description:
Concorde flight plans for Manchester[UK] - Toronto, Toronto - Heathrow and Heathrow - Paris. Two flights at the limit of Concorde's range, plus a 90-minute 'supersonic taster' flight. Re-create 3 of Concorde's flights from the 'pre-accident era' with these plans taken from official time-expired Aerad Concorde charts. Plans are in .PLN format, installation details, other additional information and tips are included.
