Flight Assistant 1.3

File Description:
FS 2002 Flight Assistant is a program for flight enthusiasts that provides a virtual co-pilot. You can give commands using a microphone which the co-pilot executes then. For example, one could give the command "flaps up", and then the flaps will be raised automatically. Furthermore, the co-pilot responds to your commands, so that you receive a confirmation. The program is nearly fully configurable. You are able to create new commands and even to edit the existing ones. An optional "power" key lets the PC only recognize commands when you press and hold down a certain key. New in version 1.3: Support for multiple languages (currently available: English, French, German), a printable command list, a tray icon and some other minor changes. (Needs Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Runtime and Microsoft Speech (SAPI) 5.1!)

Battle of the Airlines 2003 : Mission Moon

File Description:
What a race... when The Battle of the Airlines Trophy organization announced the upcoming race "Mission Moon" back in December 2002 the community of flightsimmers was astonished.... going to the Moon with MS FlightSimulator was just not possible.... or was it? After a frantic race made up of 8 stages it became clear: it was possible. Starting in February 2003, for two months the 1500 pilots had to find their way that took them from the far north to the far south on the American continents. Not only did they have to fight their competitors but also short runways, failing aircraft, suicidal flightplans and most of all: RaceRunner Ray. But the reward was worth the hardship when they entered space and made it to the Moon and back! Requires files: bota03mf.zip, bota03sf.zip.

San Franciso Fire 2003 Slurry Bomber

File Description:
This package contains a representation of the current (April 2003) San Francisco Fire, about 60 NM south of Albquerque along the Rio Grande River bosque area. More precisely it is less than 5 NM North of the OMN (Socorro, NM) VOR. This is the first fire of the 2003 fire season and so far only two P-3 tankers have been certified safe for operations after the disasters in the 2002 season where several of the older aircraft crashed due to airframe fatique. The USFS needs your help! Load up your favorite slurry bomber and head down. The fire is contained to the west side of the Rio Grande right now, and you'll find fire trucks working along the western face of the fire. Tested in FS2002 but should also work in FS2000.

Weather Center 2 Novice

File Description:
Weather Center 2.0 is an advanced weather generation add-on module for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000/2002. Weather Center 2.0 features a completely re-engineered weather generation core that produces some of the most realistic, generated weather environments ever seen in Flight Simulator! The new, unique "I-Field" algorithm translates automatically downloaded Internet data into a dynamic weather environment based not only on the data from the nearest reporting airport (like Weather Center 1), but on all nearby airports, which all provide some piece of the overall weather scene generated around the aircraft! The Novice edition includes a 15-minute demo period each time it is started, during which all the Expert features are enabled. After the demo period expires, the Novice edition continues to function indefinitely with an obsolete weather generation algorithm with most new core features disabled.

Birmingham (EGBB) Complete Traffic Package V 1.0

File Description:
This is my first version of a project on my local airport Birmingham International. It consists of 2 folders, one has two afcad overlay files known as the 'Eurohub Terminal' and the 'Main Terminal'. The afcad files give Birmingham a lot more gates than the default and is made to be used with John Walker's Birmingham 2002 Scenery. The second folder consists of the flightplan and aircraft folder used, which will need to be compiled to your flight sim directory. The aircraft used are 100% realistic and have been researched from the official bhx site and schedules. The only flaw is that this version does not include any of the eurohub British Airways flights nor the Monarch charter flights leaving Birmingham. However in my next version i will include these as i have left the two most importaint airlines till last.

FS Gauge Master v0.3

File Description:
FS GaugeMaster v0.3 - Requires v0.1 installed. GaugeMaster will scan your panel.cfg files and determine which gauges in the Flight Simulator GAUGES folder are no longer being used. It will allow you to delete any unused gauges and includes a backup facility. The program will also identify panels with missing gauges. This program is currently a Beta release (although the gauge id and delete is working) due to some missing functionality. ***NOTE*** As this is beta software please backup your FS gauges folder before running the delete function of this package. I cannot restore the files for you and they DO NOT go to the Windows Recycle Bin. I will attempt to figure out how to send them to the Recycle Bin and MAY make that an option in a future release. Air Koryo AI Traffic Version 1.10

File Description:
This is the AI schedule for the national carrier of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (otherwise known as "North Korea.") All regularly scheduled flights as listed in the OAG Worldwide Flight Guide November 2002 are included. Non-scheduled domestic flights between Pyongyang and Chongjin, Hamhung, Kilju, Kanggye, Sinuiju, and Wonsan are not in this package as well as international charter flights. Pyongyang's Sunan Intl Airport is the only facility which exists by default in FS2002 anyway. "Traffic Tools" from Lee Swordy is required for installation. Models and repaints of Air Koryo aircraft can be found by searching on most major sites. Air Koryo currently operates an all Soviet-made fleet consisting of AN-24, Il-18, IL-61 (VIP), IL-62M, Tu-134B, Tu-154B, IL-76 (cargo). Few people have the opportunity to see this carrier land at their local airport!

Battle of the Airlines Promotion Video

File Description:
The Battle of the Airlines Trophy has released a Promotion Video for the upcoming race in February 2003. This video can be found on avsim.com (filename: bota03pv.zip) and on the BOTA Homepage. To view this video the latest DivX codecs 5.0.2 are needed which can be downloaded for free from the official DivX site at www.divx.com/divx . Unlike in previous editions of this popular race when only pilots flying for Virtual Airlines could join, for the 2003 race any pilot can join. There are no requirements other than flying with Microsoft FlightSimulator 2002. In December of this year all details of the race will be made public, and pilots and VA's will be able to subscribe. Until then anyone can make sure not to miss out on any information by subscribing to the mailinglist from the BOTA Homepage. FlightSim Manager v0.9.9

FlightSim Manager is a great tool for managing addons to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002. You may easily import your existing Aircraft, Panels, Sounds and Scenery.
