Paris Charles de Gaulle International Aiport LFPG Single-Layer AFCAD

File Description:
This single-layer AFCAD file, named LFPGBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the Charles de Gaulle International Airport in Paris, France. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is LFPG and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-8, Medium-6, Small-22, Express-0, GA-9. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file LFPGBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

Houston George Bush Interncontinental Airport KIAH Single-Layer AFCAD

This single-layer AFCAD file, named KIAHBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is KIAH and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-8, Medium-11, Small-32, Express-20, GA-5. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file KIAHBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

Battle of the Airlines 2003 : Mission Moon

File Description:
What a race... when The Battle of the Airlines Trophy organization announced the upcoming race "Mission Moon" back in December 2002 the community of flightsimmers was astonished.... going to the Moon with MS FlightSimulator was just not possible.... or was it? After a frantic race made up of 8 stages it became clear: it was possible. Starting in February 2003, for two months the 1500 pilots had to find their way that took them from the far north to the far south on the American continents. Not only did they have to fight their competitors but also short runways, failing aircraft, suicidal flightplans and most of all: RaceRunner Ray. But the reward was worth the hardship when they entered space and made it to the Moon and back! Requires files: bota03mf.zip, bota03sf.zip.

British Airlines Piper Navajo Package

File Description:
FS2002 British Airlines Piper Navajo package containing four liveries for Air Anglia (Norwich, 1974-8) Wessex (Exeter, 1980's) British Northwest (Blackpool, current) and Alpha1 (Oxford, from 18th April 2005). Based on the model by JR Lucariny, with new IFR compatible custom panel by Jim Welch. Sounds by default. The four liveries represent various airline and air taxi operators of the Navajo in the UK over the past 30 years. Air Anglia used the Navajo from Norwich and Cambridge to Birmingham, Swansea, Newquay (RAF St Mawgan) and Humberside, Wessex used the Navajo on air-taxi services from Exeter around the UK in the 1980's and 90's, British Northwest currently fly two Navajos from Blackpool to the Isle of Man, and Alpha 1 will be using Navajos between Oxford and Cambridge from 18th April 2005.

British Farm Strips: Eastbach, Milson, & Nayland

File Description:
Three interesting small English farm strips. Nayland is in Suffolk, near Colchester - the main 600m grass strip has a gradient of 8% in its first half: probably the closest you'll get in Britain to one of the French alpine runways like Courchevel or Megève. Milson is in rural Shropshire on the side of a shallow valley; it has both a helipad & a 450m grass strip - most of which is on a fairly gentle 3.5% slope apart from the last 70 feet which rises up more steeply. The two runways at Gloucestershire's Eastbach Farm, on the edge of the Forest of Dean, are also on a slight slope but most of the excitement comes from their short length (250m & 350m respectively) - ideal for microlights and STOL planes. All three airfields are compatible ONLY with LAGO's TerraMesh Part 13 of England & Wales - no other mesh will work.
