File Description:
I designed this for myself to darken the default User Interface for 2 reasons. I have bad eyes that are sensitive to bright objects on the screen, and I like to fly the simulator in the evening hours with the lights turned off in the room. I hope you like my end result.
I also added 2 bonus features. Instead of hearing the Windows/Internet Explorer click sound when you mouse click on a menu item, you now will hear the "Fasten Seatbelts" sound effect. Be sure to back up the original sound "checkc" in case you find the new sound annoying. Secondly, I have included 4 optional Aircraft Viewer images that give the selected aircraft a more airborne look. I will make switching these simple by adding them to the Generic Mod Enabler(JSGME) that I will include in the download.
The look is created using Diamond Plate and Polished Aluminum textures, and modifying the buttons with some more color.
This is Freeware, and I am giving permission to anyone that wants to create their own and upload to any site they wish. I do not wish that you have to mention my name in any credits.

For FSX SP2 users only. A propeller texture 8-pack for the FS2004 Fravin C150L. These prop textures come with different colored prop blade tips in order to match them with the paint scheme of the airplane you wish to use them on. Red, yellow, green, blue, purple, orange, red white and blue (Go Team America!), and of course... just plain plain for your plane. These prop textures solve the opaque FS2004 props seen in FSX SP2. They are as transparent as I could make them... one more notch down on the scale and they'd dissappear completely. They also work on many other FS2004 aircraft used in FSX SP2, as long as you remember to rename the file to the same name as the prop file you are replacing. | Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, 41-24585 "Wulfe Hound" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the accu-sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. B-17F 41-24585 "Wulfe Hound" flew with the 303rd BG from the UK until it was forced to make an emergency landing within enemy territory on 12 december 1945. It was not damaged very much, and the Germans managed to get it airborne again. It was given a yellow underside and the markings DL+XC and was extensively tested at Rechlin airfield. It was also sent on a tour of Luftwaffe fighterbases in France, to make the pilots there with the weak and strong points of the B-17. Afterwards, it was transferred to KG200, a squadron for all kinds of clandestine missions. It was destroyed during an American airraid on Oranienburg Airfield near Berlin in april 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by A2A.
