SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Pratt & Whitney JT3D-7 Turbofan sound pack available! This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 model. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included. Realistic interior ambience noises such as the inverter noise and touchdown, flaps, gear sound with chime, and more are featured in this sound pack. Checklist files are constructed using the XML format (and so your Internet
Explorer browser can actually read them). Advanced Checklist files are therefore
customizable. This version supports checklists for multiple aircraft and
provides a certain level of fault tolerance to badly formatted checklist files.
This version also provides an editor tool that can be used to create and edit
Advanced Checklist files. Finally, this version supports both sound effects and
check item notes. Various bug fixes. Added Keyboard support for (nearly) mouse-free operation.

File Description:
UpGRADES BULLET.wav, the Companion to METAL2nd.zip, my UpDATED replacement for the Rnd_Imp.wav CFS2 sound file. NearMISS adds a more variable whiz of bullets as they rip past your aircraft.
With this upgrade you will notice much better fidelity & richer harmonics for a STEREO sound that varies more dynamically with each bullet near miss. You'll also notice much less repetition with this sound. Bullet.wav, required for CFS2 Only, is a sound which Compliments Rnd_Imp.wav & Controls the Zip-Swish sound of near misses. NearMISS (Bullet.Wav) has been tested & found reliable.
