Lockheed XP-38

File Description:
Lockheed's first fighter, the prototype P-38 was destroyed only a few weeks after its first flight. No in-flight photographs of this historic aircraft exist, so this model was designed specifically to imagine how it may have looked in flight. Full-featured FSDS2 model, with reflective metal textures, dynamic VC, animated parts (control surfaces, Fowler flaps, landing gear, gear suspension, rolling wheels, cooling vents, canopy, landing light, yoke, etc.) Complete package, including authentic P-38 sounds recorded by author. Ver. 1.3: updated for FS2004.

P-38 Pair: Lockheed P-38J & F-5 ver. 2.1. This package includes two workhorses of the war: the P-38J Lightning and its close cousin, the F-5 Photo Lightning. The J model has three texture sets (55th FS/20th FG with D-Day markings, Dick Bong's "Marge" and the Planes of Fame "Porky II.") The F-5 is "Queenie," which saw action in the ETO with the 33rd PRS.
