Oceanic Grumman G-21 Goose

File Description:
Designed to be a 'commuter' plane for businessmen in the Long Island area, the Grumman Goose was first manufactured in 1937. She was designed to cater for up to 7 passengers. The US Navy showed an interest in the amphibious aircraft in 1938, eventually acquiring 222 airframes. The Goose also served with the US Coast guard and the US Army, and later served in a military role with the British, Canadian, French, and Portuguese armed forces. 376 of them were built by 1945. Subsequent modifications (since 1966) have seen some of the aircraft modified to use turbine powerplants. This particular Goose is in a fictional paint scheme. TEXTURES ONLY! This model requires Mike Stone's G-21 Goose, which is available on AVSIM or on Mike's homepage (http://www.pmstone.com). Repaint by Graeme Porter.

KLM Lockheed L-188 Electra - 1963

File Description:
In 1959, KLM began operating the Lockheed L-188 Electra; this paint scheme, featuring distinctive diagonal stripes on the vertical stabilizer, was in use in 1963. Later revisions of this livery saw these stripes going horizontally, and the replacement of the old crown logo with the same crown logo that is in use on KLM's aircraft today. Textures only! To use this paint job, you MUST have Mike Stone's L-188 Electra installed, which you can download from his homepage at http://www.pmstone.com.
