| USAAF B-24D "The Sandman" 98th BG 9th AAF |

File Description:
B-24D-55-CO #42-40402 was assigned to the 345th Bomb Squadron, 98th Bomb Group, 9th AAF. This aircraft was assigned to 1Lt Bob Sternfels and a photo of this ship clearing the Ploesti refineries was often published following the 1 Aug 1943 mission. The nose art depicts Donald Duck carrying a large "sand bad" which is spilling bombs from it. The mission markers were miniatures of the larger art. "The Sandman was lost Sunday 19 Dec 1943 on a mission to theMesserschmitt Plant Augsburg, Germany. Its wreckage was later found in the 1980s in the Italian Dolomite mountains.

| B-24 USAAF 449th BG "Big Noise from Kentucky" |

File Description:
B-24H 42-52149 "Big Noise from Kentucky" flew 25 missions with the 718th BS/ 449th BG, based in Grottaglie, Italy, 1944. She was credited with four downed fighters during a raid on Udine 0n 30 jan 1944. She was shot down by flak over Bor, Yugoslavia on 5 may 1944, returning from Ploesti. The crew managed to return to base, except for the co-pilot, who broke his ankle on landing, and was captured. The aircraft was named by the 1st pilot, Lt. This folder contains a repaint for the MAAM-Sim B-25J 'briefing time', in the colors of an aircraft of the Dutch East Indies Air Force (ML-KNIL). M-464 served with the ML-KNil between 1945 and 1950, after which is was turned over to the Indonesian Air Force. It flew last in 1965, and came to the Netherlands in 1971. At present it is on display in the Dutch Air Force Museum in Soesterberg in the colors of this repaint. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

| Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, 41-24585 "Wulfe Hound" |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the accu-sim version of the A2A B-17G Flying Fortress. B-17F 41-24585 "Wulfe Hound" flew with the 303rd BG from the UK until it was forced to make an emergency landing within enemy territory on 12 december 1945. It was not damaged very much, and the Germans managed to get it airborne again. It was given a yellow underside and the markings DL+XC and was extensively tested at Rechlin airfield. It was also sent on a tour of Luftwaffe fighterbases in France, to make the pilots there with the weak and strong points of the B-17. Afterwards, it was transferred to KG200, a squadron for all kinds of clandestine missions. It was destroyed during an American airraid on Oranienburg Airfield near Berlin in april 1945. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by A2A.

Lockheed F-104A/B Starfighter (Royal Jordanian Air Force), aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It (in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-104A/B in the service of the Royal Jordanian Air Force; with a total of 6 models and 22 repaints. I am also including some optional variants with manual install instructions, on a separate document in the zip file. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.
