Keflavik International Airport BIKF Single-Layer AFCAD

File Description:
This sinlge-layer AFCAD file, named BIKFBB.txt, is an FS2002 facility file for the Keflavik International Airport in Reykjavik, Iceland. It adds as many gates as possible to the airport. The gates are logically labeled, but may not reflect their real-world equivalent. My goal was to add 'life' to the airport, not recreate an exact replica of the real thing. All runways are available for FS2K2 to select the active. The file ID is BIKF and has the following gate distribution: Heavy-1, Medium-2, Small-4, Express-0, GA-5. I have included Lee Swordy's AF Installer along with this file. It automatically installs it into FS2002. To use the installer, simply click on the file BIKFBB.txt and drag it onto the AF Installer icon.

STS Guidance MFD Beta 3c (for Version 2 Shuttles)

File Description:
**NOTE** This beta version of STS Guidance MFD REQUIRES Ver 2 Shuttles and will only operate correctly if the line 'OMS' is in the Shuttle section of the scenario file you are flying. STS Guidance MFD provides a guidance & control system for the Space Shuttle, including an automated rendezvous program. The other programs in the MFD are automated apogee/perigee adjustments, automated orbital plane alignment and an on-orbit attitude controller which holds the shuttle in the "-ZLV -XVV" attitude (retrograde, heads-down). This release does not come with documentation, so if you wish to learn about how to operate it then you should consult the documentation given in Soyuz-GuidanceMFD (also available here). The package includes five types of effects with xml-gauges ("afterburner", "engin-flame", "wing-contrail", "flap-contrail" and "engin-smoke"), and four types of xml-gauge_Switch ("afterburner", tailhook", "canopy open" and "spoiler" ). TrafficBoard Upgrade to v2.2.3

File Description:
Upgrade TrafficBoard for managing and spotting AI Traffic. Version 2.2.3 is a service release for Version 2.2 which brings a collection of new features from the wishlist, making TrafficBoard easier to use than ever. There are more than 1000 airlines known to TrafficBoard now. Airline IATA identifiers have been made editable. Flight Monitoring is supported by an aircraft registration display on the FlightBoard, just like Flight Simulator shows on the tags for the AI aircraft. Active Cursors will indicate editable data fields in TrafficBoard. A new context menu cares for more comfortable browsing through the Navigator. Instructions for building a replacement USB-DB15 Dongle for MS Sidewinder Joysticks

File Description:

My neighbor recently gave me a Microsoft SideWinder Precison Pro Joystick. Unfortuately, they had lost the DB15 to USB dongle (photo of dongle on the left)that connected the joystick to the USB port. This zip file contains a word document (.doc) which describes how you can build an equivalent dongle for just a few dollars. A parts list, photos of the completed assembly and a wiring diagram are included. Some elementary skill with a soldering iron is required.

Ko Samui, Thailand (VTSM) v4.0

File Description:
Samui is a small, but busy airport on the island of Ko Samui. It is located in Southern Thailand, and is an exotic resort destination. In 1989 Bangkok Airways opened their own airport on the island, which decreased the travel time from Bangkok considerably. The airport is currently served by Bangkok Airways, although an occasional private aircraft will land here. This scenery is a detailed and accurate representation of this airport as it looks today. I consulted with several visitors to the airport, as well as the AIP for Thailand. Landsat imagery was used to modify the shoreline, and a custom landclass is included. Taxiway and parking areas were modified by using AFCAD2. This scenery is compatible with 3rd-party mesh scenery for Thailand.
