File Description:
The aircraft registration is VR-HUF. It was built in 1993 and delivered to Cathay Pacific. This aircraft flew as VR-HUF until 1997 due to the Hong Kong handover. This file shows the state of this aircraft in the early 1990's when it still had it's green striped engines (which was repainted to the standard blank colors early in it's lifetime). Today this 747 still flies with Cathay Pacific as B-HUF. The model used was created by the Project Open Sky team.

File Description:
This FSX repaint depicts the second -8i test aircraft (N6067U) from Boeing currently running the gauntlet of flight tests prior to it's delivery to Lufthansa in 2012.
This repaint is based on the latest photos of RC021 at Paine Field in it's interim livery and is modeled accurately with correct window placements as per the real aircraft.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paint kit and features DDS DXT5 textures and includes custom night lighting with increased illumination and custom cockpit views.
PMDG 747-400X for FSX and 747-8i/8F add-on packages are BOTH required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

These procedures include the following enhancements: All procedures are included as-published by the FAA and they are expanded to replace ATC-vectors with realistic route segments for use in a non-ATC environment (ie not using VATSIM or other service). This is a repaint of the 747-300 in Cameroon Airlines colors. The payware 747-300 by Commercial level Simulations - CLS is needed for this repaint. Cameroon Airlines operated only this one 747-300. It was nicknamed "Big Boss", probably because it was the largest ailriner flown by Camair. It flew for them for only 3 years, 2001-2004. Textures are HD 32bit. This repaint was tested on P3D v3 and FSX.

File Description:
This repaint is based on British Airways' announcement of a 50th anniversary 747 livery. Although the original aircraft was a 747-100, I selected the 747-400 PAX version as the closest PMDG variation.
This is version 1.0.
At some time after the PBR support from PMDG I will attempt to add bare aluminum to the bottom half of the fuselage, as some photographs I've found suggest the original has this characteristic.

The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DDS DXT5 textures.
