In November 1966 the Dutch charter operator Transavia Holland started its activities with 2 Douglas DC-6 and 1 Douglas DC-6B aircraft. Despite stiff competition from KLM and Martinair Holland, Transavia was able to conquer a considerable part of the charter and inclusive tours market and expanded its fleet with a several more DC-6B's. In 1968 Transavia became involved in the relief airlift from Sao Tome to Biafra using its fleet of DC-6's. The next year the DC-6's were sold to Flughjalp who continued flying the Biafra missions till January 1970. Featured here are DC-6 PH-TRA (1966 livery) and DC-6 PH-TRB (1968 livery). Today Transavia is a major Dutch low cost and charter airline (owned by Air France-KLM) operating Boeing 737-700 and 737-800 aircraft. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-6 (dc6_v20x.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

FSX Flight Plan for OB-96 Fort Worth Texas IFR high speed low altitude military training route. This is the fifteenth in a series of flight plans I have uploaded. This route goes through mostly flat and rolling terrain in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. This route has two different sets of targets. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package are two spectacular gauges by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying and Pave Tack which includes many advanced features for bombing, navigation and reconnaissance. These two gauges will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and are a great companion of the flight plans. This is a complete set of all 17 of my FSX Oil Burner Flight Plans uploaded earlier. Installation and Usage instructions are inside each individual folder. No changes have been made to the individual flight plans since they were uploaded earlier. Theses 17 routes are located throughout the continental United States. | Twin Cities Sectional Chart Chunks for Aerosoft's FSMap |

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/long geographic coordinate system for the FSMap, moving map application for flight simulation use.
The chart chunks are the full sectional divided by 2 tiles (east/west) and converted from the geotiffs to baseline 8bit tiffs with packbit compression applied, not for size but for efficiency. The images are about 6,000x6,000 pixels at about 25mb each, also included is the FSMap fsm Calibration file for importing.
**Note: The files in this download are the largest of the split sectionals, 6,000x7,000 due to the Lake of the Woods region extending the northern border. These should work in the gauge just fine, having tested the full sectional area tiff that is 12,000x7,000 at 60mb in size in the gauge the only difference was that the zoom in was limited to 10nm with these larger images (see the notes in the zip file).

File Description:
Fly the third mission of the serie Direct Fly and bring your passengers safely from San Francisco to San Diego Lindberg Field. The mission is created this time for the default Boing 737-800. A guiding copilot will be on your side, giving you all important informations and hints during the flight, so that you are able to bring the twin-jet straight in to the air and in the end safely back to the ground. The flight is based on the original commuter-flight of United Airlines 1164. As a additional feature, the mission includes a simulation of a ground alert system if you land at San Diego and a altitude alert system if you reach the different altitudes by climbing or descending. With the third mission is the first day of the four days service schedule complete. You only need the Microsoft Flightsimulator X with Service Pack 2 for this mission. No addon or download is required.
