| KLM Douglas DC-6 |

File Description:
Having been an operator of the Douglas DC-2, DC-3, DC-4 and DC-5, it seemed only logical that KLM (celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2009) purchased the DC-6 for its long-haul routes. Seemed, because KLM already operated the Lockheed L-049 Constellation, the DC-6's competitor. Nevertheless, Connie and DC-6 marched on together quite well. Enclosed in this package are five repaints of DC-6's during several stages in their life with KLM. The 1957 livery of PH-DPP was an interim-livery (see the 'old fashioned' white lettering and the early-fifties style cowlings). The 1962 livery of PJ-DPI seems to have been an attempt to fit into the new house style of KLM without having to respray the fuselage, as the DC-6 reached the end of its KLM carreer anyway. These are textures only. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-6 (dc6_v20x.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

This is a complete simulation of the Piaggio PD-808. It includes advanced engine management, realistic systems, and some failure modeling. The model features a complete 3-D virtual cockpit,and a 2-D panel. The external model features all typical animations plus a load of custom ones. Also incluides all custom special effects, including different selectable floodlights for the virtual cockpit (by simply flicking ON the proper light switch on the cockpit itself). Plus with a fly-on-the-numbers flight dynamics file. Includes full documentation. THIS IS THE FS-X RELEASE. IT WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY WITH FS-2004. THERE IS ALSO A FS-2004 RELEASE THAT WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY WITH FS-X. THis is the "GE" variant of the aircraft and requires the base package "FSX_PD808RM.zip" to work.

| Lost River ASU Observatories |

File Description:
This is a fictitous scenery of the Alaska State University operated North-Western observatories.
It is located near LSR_Lost River and AK45_Lost River_2 on the Western coast of Alaska.
LSR, AK45 and KPC_Port Clarence have been upgraded with hangers and various objects.
LSR, AK45 and the (2) mountain top observatories have been upgraded with helipads along with various ground vehicles including snocats, aircraft, misc buildings and hangers. The main observatory complex has a main rooftop pad and a heli-tower. These helipads were designed for heli practice. some are on the ground and others are a bit more challenging.
There is a map included which shows the locations of the observatory complexes in relation to the airports. There is also a small research facility located to the east which is indicated on the map. This fictional scenery was design with default FSX 3D objects and (1) addon library, fa_ez-arctic_set by Finney Air, Robert Finnegan.

| NEW Realistic HUD for the FSX F/A-18 Hornet |

A realistic head-up display (HUD) for the FSX Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet. The HUD is an enhanced version of the original HUD for the F/A-18 by Scott Printz. The original functionality Scott built into it is preserved, and the following new features are added: 1) Precise ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers (including moving carriers) that allow carrier landings in low visibility and at night. 2) The HUD symbology is conformal to the outside world: The horizon bar stays on the horizon, velocity vector shows actual flight path as read against the outside world (if you keep your vector pointed at a certain spot on the runway, this is exactly where you will land). 3) Caged mode with ghost vector for use in heavy side wind conditions. 4) Elements repositioned to make the HUD look as close as possible to the real Hornet HUD. The Sukhoi Su-27 is a one-seat Mach-2 class jet fighter originally manufactured by the Soviet Union, and designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau. The Su-27's basic design is aerodynamically similar to the MiG-29, but it is substantially larger. It is a very large aircraft, and to minimize its weight its structure has a high percentage of titanium (about 30%, more than any of its contemporaries). No composite materials were used. The swept wing blends into the fuselage at the leading edge extensions and is essentially a delta, although the tips are cropped for wingtip missile rails or ECM pods. The Su-27 is not a true delta, however, because it retains conventional tailplanes, with two vertical tailfins outboard of the engines, supplemented by two fold-down ventral fins for additional lateral stability.

LGKA - ADE enhanced scenery, Aristotelis Airport Greece. FSX scenery only, no big frame-hits - uses only default scenery objects.
One night this winter, I tried to land at LGKA. The regional airport Aristotelis, since I was on my way to Turkey and finally Israel.
When I was cleared to land, with a visibility around 1 or 2 N.miles I couldn't find the airport even though the VOR and NDB guided me straight to it.
Suddenly the airport appeared as I passed over it. There was no lighting at the airport even though charts promised me lit runways. The airport was barren, desolate. So that meant work! With the aid of ADE I added runway lighting, added some buildings, a fuel trigger and other stuff to have a nice airport in NW Greece. Not completely 100% accurate where buildings are concerned, but just fun. It 's yours. if you want it. AVSIM upload only

| Twin Cities Sectional Chart Chunks for Aerosoft's FSMap |

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/long geographic coordinate system for the FSMap, moving map application for flight simulation use.
The chart chunks are the full sectional divided by 2 tiles (east/west) and converted from the geotiffs to baseline 8bit tiffs with packbit compression applied, not for size but for efficiency. The images are about 6,000x6,000 pixels at about 25mb each, also included is the FSMap fsm Calibration file for importing.
**Note: The files in this download are the largest of the split sectionals, 6,000x7,000 due to the Lake of the Woods region extending the northern border. These should work in the gauge just fine, having tested the full sectional area tiff that is 12,000x7,000 at 60mb in size in the gauge the only difference was that the zoom in was limited to 10nm with these larger images (see the notes in the zip file).

File Description:
This delightfully streamlined airliner from the Classic Fifties is now only barely remembered in the U.K and probably almost unknown to the world at large. It has its origins as the prime contender after W.W.2 in the race for a medium range turboprop airliner in contention with the Viscount 630.
Had the manufacturers chosen the R.R. Dart as the power plant instead of the troublesome A.S. Mamba, then maybe the course of history in British aviation at that time would have been quite different. Who knows?
Only two flying airframes plus a test fuselage were made and unfortunately are no longer with us but under the aegis of F.S., we present our interpretation for your pleasure and enjoyment.
Our model depicts the two completed airframes and as an added bonus we have included
Coventry Airport AFCAD and Add on Scenery depicted in the 1950's including all hangars, Armstrong Whitworth Factory/hangar complex and control tower. Editvoicepack Apollo call sign.
