These are the VC-RAIN textures I after testing, found best for performance in FSX SP2...
Textures are in 8x8 bit Dxt3 without Mips and with alphas for transparency.
Place the textures in the main texture folder, the original textures from SP2 is included in this file, if You dont want to use the smaller textures.
You can also use the textures from FS2004 with mips...

Malaysia Airlines operates a fleet of 30 Boeing 737-400s on its domestic and regional network. To be used with the brand new FAIB Boeing 737-400 (logolight model) base package available separately. These are textures only, in both 32bits and dxt3 (mipped and non-mipped) formats. If you are using fsx, we recommend that you download instead the file faib_734mas_fsx.zip which includes native HD fsx textures. Repaint by Philippe Tabatchnik.
