Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trialing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. This FSX repaint represents the PMDG 747-400X Queen of the Skies with the previous Virgin Atlantic scheme for G-VXLG otherwise known as 'Ruby Tuesday'.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DDS DXT5 textures and updated night textures which increase the illumination of the fuselage and tail at night.
PMDG 747-400 for FSX required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.

relatives and freinds in Arizona. America West was operating some 742's(I think 2) but I guess they weren't very economical so AW stopped using them.

Very realistic sound set for GE-CF6-80 powered 747-400s. It really gives you that "thundering down the runway" feeling at full throttle :) I tested this soundset on a Project Opensky 747-400 but I recon you could also use it in combination with the Meljet model. Please see the readme file for credits and installation instructions. This set was created with quality in mind not filesize.... (sorry), nontheless enjoy!!

File Description:
This FS2004 repaint depicts the 4th addition of the World Airways -400 freighter fleet in March 2011 of N742WA, a converted freighter from Bedek. This represents my interpretation of this aircraft in the current livery.
The aircraft was hand painted using the PMDG paintkit and features DXT3 textures including updated night illumination and custom cockpit view.
PMDG 747-400 for FS2004 required. See readme for important installation instructions and enjoy the repaint.
