The 457th was assigned to the 94th Combat Bombardment Wing of the 1st Bombardment Division. Its tail code was Triangle-U.
The Group flew its last combat mission on 20 April 1945. The unit had carried out 237 missions. Total number of sorties was 7.086 with nearly 17.000 tons of bombs and 142 tons of leaflets being dropped.
The 457th was inactivated on 18 August 1945.
Included in the download is an AI traffic BGL file that makes this base come to life. To get this file working, you must download and install the 457th bomb group repaints for the Wings of Power B-17G by Chuck Lawsen.
Enjoy!

File Description: Comb Ridge, Rock Point (49AZ), Utah/Arizona, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX)
This scenery extends my Monument Valley scenery to the east. It covers the area between the San Juan River in the north down to Rock Point, AZ (49AZ). Most of the scenery lies on the Navajo Nation Reservation. It completes the southeastern corner of Utah and paves our way into Colorado.
High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/CNY_South3West6.html . The screenies are taken from the high-res versions, so expect this version to be slightly more blurry. Thanks to Joop Mak for providing custom AFCADs that correct airport layouts so that they align with the photo-textures! They are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/AFCADs.html . File Description: This scenery covers the southwestern part of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. From the air
you can see all the "stairs" from the Pink Cliffs of Bryce Canyon in the north down to the Grey Cliffs,
the White Cliffs and the Vermillion Cliffs just north of Kanab and then the Chocolate Cliffs further south.
Nothwest of Kanab you can fly above beautiful Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park which features coral-hued
sand dunes located beside red sandstone cliffs. These dunes consist of sand that formed thru erosion of
pink colored Navajo Sandstone surrounding the park and was deposited by wind. To explore the scenery depart
from Kanab Airport (KKNB).

File Description: This scenery will update the Canyonlands Airport (KCNY) in Utah with fictitous scenery. This is not a real representation of the airport, simply an update I created using the fantastic Runway12 software, to make this airport a little more interesting. You must have the Runway12 scenery libraries and program installed for this scenery to display!

File Description: Greybull, Wyoming was a major stop-over for Frontier Airlines starting in 1950 with DC-3's for people going from Billings, Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah and points in-between. A nice little airport that needed a lot of help.
I discovered this airport flying the Frontier route in my DC-3 and didn't like the looks of it at all! So I fixed it.
The aircraft on the north side of the airfield represent the boneyard. Greybull has become the graveyard of many different aircraft, hence the "mess" to the west of the runway.
Look at the default pics and then see what lots of help from Google Earth and FS Earth can do to a sad airport.
I took a screenshot of the default airport superimposed on the new one to show the difference.

File Description: KOGD-Ogden,Ut Take your sailboat to the Great Salt Lake inland sea or hike the many mountains and enjoy the vistas offered atop the lofty peaks. Visit the quiet mountain valley town of Eden to the east of KOGD with its annual balloon festival and summer fun on Pineview dam or spend the day shopping the shops of Brigham City to the north or Salt Lake City to the south. Fly over the Great Salt Lake to the west. See the Ogden airport come alive with this must have add-on. With the help of Google Earth and FS Earth I have recreated the Ogden airport, with its new taxiway A (from a site visit), and the surrounding cities and towns to look as real as possible. Made with Ultimate Terrain, but the airport should be ok with default FS9. (No guarantee though ;-) The scenery enhancements were made with Ultimate Terrain in place. I modified the landclass to look more like the real thing. The airport is very close to a exact replica of KOGD! The crane by the tower was there when I took the pictures so I included it.
