File Description:
DBWsim proudly presents Greystone airfield, centrepiece of the Jumbolair estate which is home to John Travolta. The airfield has been extensively redeveloped, realistically portraying the area. The estate section of the field is also accurately covered including detailed scenery of the Travolta house. A localised landclass optimises the appearance of the area. Some areas have been extrapolated based on the best available information and to take into account future development of the estate.

File Description: Lanseria international airport is Johannesburg's second international airport and mostly cater to private jets, low cost airlines and many private general aviation and flightschool aircraft. It is a privately owned airport and can accomodate aircraft up to the size of a Boeing 757-300. This airport has seen John Travolta use it with his Boeing 707, the Hilton family with a private Boeing 757 and even the USAF have landed their C-17 Globemasters at the airport when Air Force one came here in the past with the latter landing at AFB Waterkloof. This package started out as a conversion of the wonderfull FSX scenery of the airport by Lee Hall and converted with permission from the original author. It quickly expanded however to a project that now additionally includes photoreal ground textures that changes with seasons, many added fences and gates around the airport, inclusion of the shaded parking areas with parked cars, static airplanes (RWY12 and EZ scenery libraries needed to see this) as well as numerous objects around the airport and apron made by myself in Gmax to give the airport some FS9 life. Also included is the wonderfull "apron light splashes" by Hans Günther Schnell who kindly gave me permission to use it for the night times. I have also included a local mesh for the area for users of FSGlobal 2010 to eliminate the extreme elevation anomoly around the airport.

Lockheed L-049 Constellation (48-609) USAF MATS

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of C-121A 48-609 of MATS. It was delivered to the USAF in 1948 and flew in support of the Berlin Airlift. It was then used as a VIP transport until 1968, when is sold and converted to an agricultural sprayer. It was bought by John Travolta in 1984, who sold it to Vern Raburn in 1987. He restored it and flew it as the MATS Connie for a few years. In 2005 it was donated to Korean Air and flown to Korea, where it is still on display. Two engines were used to restore the Constellation currently in the Aviodrome in the Netherlands. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Qantas Airways Boeing 747-400 'V-Jet'

File Description:
FS2004/2002 Boeing 747-400 Qants V-Jet livery by Ike Kalua. Registration VH-QVJ fictitious. It was fun watching mister Travolta fly in to SFO for the Aircraft History Gala at SFO recently and caught a glimpse of this at the end of the field that is now closed. The V-Jet is loud and is powerful. It climbs like a DC-9, cause it isn't heavily weighed down. This aircraft features reflective metal textures added to the engine cowls to simulate the look of polishhed Aluminum. like the kind you find on other private jets this size, and of course the V-Jet logo that made the aircraft so pretty!
