FSX: Enhanced Major Metro Autogen (requires FSX Enhanced Autogen World )

File Description:
This is the second and final part of our enhanced autogen release. This package repairs and upgrades 48 major city autogen building textures world-wide and RESTORES the light maps Aces missed in which large numbers of buildings (Paris, Berlin, London, etc) have been dark since the release of FSX. It includes North America, South America, Asia, Eurasia, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Australia. You MUST install PART ONE (fsx_enhanced_autogen.zip) before using this package. There are links included with the instructiions of this package to PART 1 should you need them along with instructions for FTX users. The included textures will add all the default missing light maps, blend perfectly with GEX Enhanced USA/Canada and are a great match for our upcoming GEX Europe release. Please note these are only textures for major metro auto-generated buildings and are not the city skyscrapers and landmarks. There is absolutely no performance loss -or- performance gain when using these textures which are ONLY for FSX and can not be used in FS9. Happy Holidays from Team GEX to the entire sim community!

GABS Bamako Senou International Airport

File Description:
Bamako Senou International Airport (IATA: BKO, ICAO: GABS) is Malis main airport approximately 15 km south of downtown Bamako, the capital of Mali in West Africa. It is managed by Aeroports du Mali (ADM). Its operations are overseen by the Malian Ministry of Equipment and Transports. Senou Airport was opened to traffic in 1974. The airport was upgraded between 2007 and 2012 in a 181 million US dollar project funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation, a United States foreign aid agency. Passenger traffic steadily increased in the early 2000s. Government figures show 403,380 passengers in 1999, 423,506 in 2003, 486,526 in 2004, and 516,000 in 2005. It is predicted to reach over 900,000 by 2015 under a low (4%) yearly growth rate scenario. To date this growth rate has been surpassed. Total air traffic at BKO increased by 12.4% in 2007 and 14% in 2008. Most of this increase came in passenger transport, with the number of passengers served increasing by 20% in 2007 and 17% in 2008. Twenty-seven airline carriers operated weekly or better at BKO in the 2007-2008 period. This continued growth was offset by cargo flights decline of 16.75% in 2007, and 3.93% in 2008. The highest frequency route is on the Bamako-Dakar sector with 29 weekly non-stop connections. Domestic flights also serve Mali's regional capitals Kayes, Mopti, Timbuktu, Sikasso, Gao, and Kidal. Hartebeespoort Dam, South Africa (Fictional Water Runway Airport)

File Description: Due to no available airports in South Africa, with water runways in FSX, I decided to create a fictional airport at Hartebeespoort Dam with both a water runway as well as normal asphalt runway. FAHD also allows you to taxi from the main apron into the water as well as exit the water onto the main apron. 4 Water docking facilities also exist for aircraft with floats, which means you have a choice if you would like to start on the apron or at the water docks parking spaces. Amongst other facilities are ILS, NDB, Runway and Taxiway lights, 6 Small GA and 2 Medium GA Parking spot as well as refueling facility, a Tower and Small Terminal Building etc.
