F-86E Sabre USAFE "Wolfhounds"

File Description:
This is a repaint for the awesome SectionF8 Sabres in the colors of the 32nd TFS "wolfhounds" based at EHSB (Soesterberg AB closed 1 januari 2009)Camp New Amsterdam in the early 50,s This plane is now showing up at the military aviation museum near Soesterberg called Kamp van Zeist. Actually this plane is bought in the 70,s from the Portugal AF and repainted in the "wolfhounds" colors.

File Description:
Repaint of the absolutely awesome F-86F Sabre by SECTIONF8 (available at AVSIM), depicting the Canadair Sabre Mk.6 'RCAF 23707' of 434 'Bluenose' Squadron. Differing from my former Luftwaffe camo repaints, this ship was done in the european RCAF camo scheme, using authentic RAF-colors. From March 1953 to January 1963, 434 Squadron was based at Zweibruecken, Germany.

Repaint of the absolutely awesome F-86F Sabre by SECTIONF8 (available at AVSIM), depicting a Canadair Sabre Mk.6 of Jagdgeschwader 73 in camouflage pattern. Differing from most camouflages, the Luftwaffe camo was of a 'semi-gloss' appearance, thus the photoreal base textures (no alpha) could be used, adding a respective handpainted camo layer in authentic RAL-colours. Sabre Mk.6, target tug 'D-9538'

File Description:
Repaint of the absolutely awesome F-86F Sabre by SECTIONF8 (available at AVSIM), depicting a Canadair Sabre Mk.6 target tug aircraft, operated by CONDOR. In October 1966, the Lufthansa-affiliated CONDOR Flugdienst was commissioned to operate target-tugs for anti-aircraft training purposes. Six drawn-out-of-service Luftwaffe Sabre Mk. 6 were provided for the civil operator. They were stationed at Westerland/Sylt and beared a civil registration number. The D-9538 (Canadair c/n 1600) started service at Waffenschule 10 (fighter school), marked as 'BB-370' and 'BB-170'. After 1974, it was sold to FLIGHT SYSTEMS Inc, registered as N-1039C and N82FS. Taking part in the airshow business, it was painted in the colors of the "SKYBLAZERS" aerobatic team. It crashed at Lumberton, New Jersey on June 19th, 1999, killing its pilot and owner.

This texture set is of "Lucky Lady", F-86F-1-NA S/N 51-2869 assigned to 16th Fighter Interceptor Squadron, 51st Fighter Interceptor Wing, Suwon AB, S. Korea, 1952. Repaint by Steve Bryant, with the kind permission of Cliff Presley, based on his texture set, F-86_52-4956.zip.
