The classy looking Riviera amphibian is "Seabee" in Italian style... Built by Nardi and Siai-Marchetti, supposedly only 23 were built during the early 1960ies by Siai-Marcheti, the majority of them being sold to America. As every italian design, it is built to go fast. It seats 4 people including the pilot, the reversible propeller gives it superb manouverability in water (and taxi). It is a high-wing anphibian aircraft with double tailfin and pusher propeller. Read notes before flying! (FN333_check.htm, FN333_ref.htm & panel_FN333.htm, plus redme.txt).
This model features advanced flight dynamics, detailed external model, detailed photreal virtual cockpit and virtual cabin with night lighting, custom effects, etc.

File Description:
This is a re-edition of the Piaggio P-149D with FS-X retail\SP1\2\Accel DX9 compatibility (DX10 users need to convert textures). The original model for FS-2004 is MN_P149D.zip + P149_FIX.zip available on AVSIM & www.mariopilot.6x.to. P_149_fix.zip is already included in this FS-X update.
The Piaggio P-149 is a trainer-laison aircraft. It first flew in June 19th, 1953. I'ts a development of the P-148 model, with increased seat cpacity, tricycle retractable landing gear and a more powerful engine, featuring a three-bladed constant speed propeller. It was mainly used by German Luftwaffe as a training aircraft, that oredred 75 examples in 1955. Later in 1957 another 190 were manufactured under licence by Focke-Wulf. The D version is the one employed by Luftwaffe, while later some few P-149CH variants were used by Swissair as flying schools, and a few P-149U variants, with a new tailplane section to allow more rotation clearance on takeoff were used by Ouganda's Air Force. The P-149 Has a seating capacity of 4 with some examples being certified for 5 (both cases including pilot) and it's fully aerobatic, having G-limits set at +7\-4.5. After training activities ceased with Luftwaffe, several are still flying under civilian operators. This gMAX model features completely 3-D virtual cocpkit and cabin with advanced night lighting and custom special effects, plus a sound package recorded from the real thing. Simulates all systems onboard the real aircraft, coming with panel instructions. Flight Dynamics are built using only real data based on the 1% spreadsheet plus lots of manual tweaking for fine tuning. Read Notes before flying please... Enjoy!

File Description:
This package contains a FS-X native conversion of all my original Piaggio P-166 models developed for FS-2002/2004. All versions are included: P-166A, P-166BL-2, P-166CL-2, P-166M, P-166S, P-166DL-3 and P-166DP-1. The 3D models are virtually the same, so these are fairly simple models. Yet they come with a VC (no 2D panel this time!). With respect to the FS-2002/2004 releases, they come with very much improved panels, in two flavors: Piston and Turboprop. Gauges developed by Milton Shupe & Scott Thomas for the Aero Commander / Turbo Commander Aircraft series, and Edgar Guinart López of Aeroproyecto for the Embraer 110. Other Gauges from my own Piaggio P-180 & PD-808. Also Included is a brand-new flight model redeveloped from scratch. The 3D models are mildly improved, with a proper pilot figure, main panel backlighting and bump-mapping. Please refer to the Reference and Checklist pages provided via the FS Kneeboard for flying and operating instructions. Models converted with Arno Gerretsen’s Model Converter X.
The Piaggio P-166 is a light small twin. An Exotic twin-engine prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light amphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tail planes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957. The aircraft was still in production in the early 21st century in an improved turboprop version, the P-166DP-1.

Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. This is a true FS-X (SP2) SDK aircraft! Version 3.0 brings an entirely new cockpit (2D/3D, 2D panel available in Widescreen and 4/3) and cabin down to almost every single switch, entirely new flight dynamics, advanced systems and avionics, new sound and panel sound effects, and much more!
The Piaggio P-180 is a high-speed high-efficiency turboprop aircraft. Capable of speeds up to 395 KTAS (or M0.68) up to its service ceiling of 41000ft. This performance is achieved by extreme aerodynamic optimization instead of sheer power. The end result is an aircraft that burns 40% less fuel than the average jet of comparable size, while flying at the same speed range, or 30% less than an equivalent size turboprop, as it flies much faster. The pusher propellers on the wings mounted much backwards thanks to the forward wing set make it a comfortable and quiet ride for the passengers, that also enjoy a very spacious cabin for an aircraft of this size.
