File Description:
This updated version reflects the changes taking place at the airport with two optional files and made only for FSX users, not made or suitable for use in P3D: There is one version with the Crosswind runways operating where all 8 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default airport runway operation: Runway 9C/27C and its taxiways now added with ILS approaches included for it, runway 9R/27L now at its new extended length and the ILS approaches corrected for it, the runway reconfiguration is now complete, the new extension and gates added to terminal 5, all aprons, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, assigned parking as per their website where possible with extra parking including 2 gates for the A380 (gates M9 and M19), extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements and objects added, airport views are from inside the central control tower (when in tower view), there is also a file for the nearby airport Chicago Executive formally Palwaukee Municipal (KPWK) which uses the same frequency as the KORD ILS for rwy 9C/27C, this bgl file for KPWK has the ILS frequency for Rwy 16 corrected to 109.75, so as not to cause a conflict at KORD, please view the readme before installation.

File Description: This is a AFCAD file for KORD. All gates have been redone to prevent wing overlap, and represent actually parking positions. Runway west-flow has been simulated. Tested with AIG/WOAI flightplan packages and associated AI models.

File Description: CHICAGO X DEMO features an extremely detailed scenery of large area of Chicago, USA, fully compatible with FSX, FSX SE, P3D v1/v2/v3/v4 and FSW by Dovetail. With Chicago X you are free to fly to any of 3 airports: KORD O'Hare International Airport, KMDW Midway International Airport, KPWK Chicago Executive Airport and admire some of the world-renowned landmarks, bridges, harbours, heliports, seaplane bases, ships, etc. This Demo version features both - the City and the Airports packages (commercial poducts) and includes some downtown buildings as well as all airports with terminals but with low resolution textures, non-animated jetways and generally much less details. This ensures no problems with online (VATSIM, IVAO and multiplayer) flying in case some users have the payware scenery and some don't. It's equipped with an automatic installer, which means that the scenery will be automatically added to the Flight Simulator Scenery Library. File Description:
Update to the default KORD airport to include the new runway 10C-28C that opened October 2013. Corrected the existing runway numbering and taxiways to reflect how they exist as of the Oct 17-Nov 14 2013 AIRAC Aiport Diagram. Used the existing default buildings and library objects as they appeared in the default KORD file (unless a new runway or taxiway went "through" the existing building...in that case I deleted the building rather than move it). Yes, I added taxiways JJ and RR. Created using ADE9X and I included approaches that appear in the default GPS Approach list. Scenery Density for any objects was not changed. Whatever appeared in your existing FSX density setting will appear here.
