File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of ZK-APK of the New Zealand National Airways Corporation (NZNAC). Originally C-47B-45-DK 45-964, it was ferried to New Zealand and flew as NZ3556 with the RNZAF until 1947. She then went to NZNAC as ZK-APK 'Poaka' (white headed gull). In 1964 it was converted to DC-3D and leased to Fiji Airways until 1967, when it was sold to Airland (NZ) Ltd. It was cancelled from the NZ register in 1984, and is currently in use as a cafe at Mangaweka, NZ. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang."

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of X-1 of the Dutch Air Force. The Dutch Air Force received her first Dakota's in 1952, although they owned one in 1946, but that crashed near Katwijk the same year and was destroyed. That one carried the registration X-1, but that is not the subject of my paint... The Air Force later leased one C-47 from the KLM, gave it the military registration X-2, but it kept its civil registration, PH-TBV, on the tail. Later they leased a few more, and clearly they liked them, because they bought a few more in 1952. The first one was taken on charge in 1952 and was numbered X-1 as depicted in this repaint. The makers badge with its construction number was missing however, and nobody seems to know where this aircraft came from. The logbook mentions the aircraft was 'found'. There was a rumour that the aircraft had been used by refugees from the east and landed at Valkenburg airfield without registration. About a year later, the aircraft made an emergency landing near Valkenburg after taking off for a relief flight for the flooded areas in the south of the Netherlands on 6 februari 1953 and was written off. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of DC-3C N777YA, which is flying with Bush Air Cargo from Anchorage, Alaska. Originally built in 1944 (c/n 25634), it first flew with the USAAF (43-48373), before serving with the US Navy (17259). In 1946 it was registered with Wien Alaska Airlines as NC21769 and then saw service with Aero Retardent Inc. as N777DG, Pacific Galactic as N777PG and finally with Woods Air Service as N777YA before being sold to its present owner. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang.

This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A-50-DL 42-24265 6E-C, which flew with the 44th TCS/316th TCG, taking part in the parachute drops at D-Day, Market Garden and Operation Varsity. After the war, it had several owners in the US and South America until 1978, when it crashed in Guatemala. It was built as 43-93226 and became NC47259 after the war. It went to Jamaica Airways as VP-JAP and then to Bahamas Airways in 1947. Later it was painted in a pseudo BOAC scheme when BOAC bought an interest in Bahamas Airways. It was later sold to BWIA and became VP-TBF. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang."
