Light Aircraft Autopilot

File Description:
This gauge has been designed to fit into those tight spaces and provide basic functions for flying light aircraft. The autopilot can keep the wings level and hold a chosen vertical speed in feet. I have included an example panel.cfg for Rick Piper's Aeroprakt A-22 Foxbat with the fantastic Apollo SL40 Comm radio, GX50 GPS and SL70 Transponder radio stack gauges by Gerd R. Nehr. The panel.cfg also uses a gauge called 'dsd_view_skip' by Douglas S. Dawson to remove the 2D view. This gauge is not included.

Vintage Narco / EDO-AIRE / TKM / Misc XML Avionics for Single Single Private Planes

File Description:
This is a collection of avionics which I could not find for my Piper Warrior. They have been created in XML, and include a Narco Audio panel, Narco NAV121/122, Narco and TKM COM's ,and Narco XSPNDR gauges. Also included is an EDO-AIRE ADF and several gauges customized for a Warrior, including fuel selector, heading indicator, fuel gauges, a simple heading hold autopilot, and an invisible mouseover hourmeter to give you current FS2004 hours. This autopilot gauge has been designed to pop-up and provide basic functions for flying light or vintage aircraft. The autopilot can keep the wings level and hold a chosen vertical speed in feet. It has been designed to compliment a Palm EFIS or Palm GPS to add electronic goodness to a basic cockpit. Useful also for users with sensitive controls, aircraft with heavy trim controls or toilet breaks. You may not distribute this gauge without my permission in writing.

E4 Autopilot System Gauge Set

File Description:
E4 Autopilot System Gauge Version 1.0 This E4 Autopilot Gauge Set is comprised of four different gauges. Two gauges, the “Turn Coordinator” and the “Servo Engage Panel” work together and are both required for proper operation of the E4 Autopilot System. Although not an actual part of an E4 Autopilot System, the “Monitor Panel” and “Set Panel” are provided to monitor switch positions and allow the changing of a few flight parameters. Event Logger

File Description:
This is a diagnostic gauge, targeted primarily at gauge and panel authors. It writes all Key_Events issued in FS9 to a log file, thus allowing the detection of repeating Key_Events which interfere with normal panel operation. It will not identify the gauge issuing the repeating Key_Events, but by identifying the Key_Events themselves, it should make the gauge issuing them somewhat easier to locate. If you have a panel which does not allow the selection of a second engine or exit, or which exhibits improper autopilot operation, this gauge may help you discover why.

iFly 747-400 Joystick\autopilot conflict solver

File Description:
This gauge lets you assign throttle levers and elevator trim axis to the iFly 747-400 via a registered copy of FSUIPC without interfering with autopilot functions. This is to solve a problem involving custom "aircraft specific" control configurations on FSUIPC. setting controls via FSUIPC may interfere badly with autopilot operations involving elevator trim and throttle settings. The exellent iFly 747-400 does not make use of the standard FS autopilot, and instead sets trim and power by his own calculations. The problem is that by assigning controls via FSUIPC this autopilot is overridden! also, jittering in the elevator trim axis causes "postion fighting" between the joystick and the autopilot, resultiing in violent pitch oscillations. Autothrottle refuses to work completely if the throttle levers are not assigned via standard FS dialog. with this gauge the problem is avoided and you are free to assign yuor throttle levers and elevator trim axis provided you follow the instructions carefully.

Dh89a Dragon Rapide Autopilot Update

File Description: This is an update for my Dh89a Dragon Rapide Autopilot (dh89a_ap.zip) which adds an avionics master switch to the autopilot panel as well as an optional panel.cfg mod that makes the aircraft load with the icons panel in view.
