File Description:
The original pack did not get the transparency correct for the damage tgas. To fix this problem, replace the originals with these files. Thanks to JSF_Aggie for taking the time to correct the problem :)

A-1H Skyraider Version 4.0c Alternative INI Files

File Description:
Monty's model is great. Digital Overload worked really hard on the ini files as well. But the A-1H V4.0a release still has many problems. I am offering my own version 4.0c ini files (this solves the prop issue with the 4.0b ini files). These ini files offer some nice alternatives to the 4.0a files: The cockpit is unfinished but more importantly has transparency issues with the glass. The problem is compounded when you try to see through the gunsight, canopy, and propellor tga files. So I replaced the unfinished cockpit with the stock A-4B cockpit. It is very similar and has almost identical functionality. It is also very easy to see through the glass and even targets through the gunsight. Since the prop is visible again, I have provided a more transparent version of the original prop tga file. The lod table has been vastly simplified to reflect the fact that there are only two lod files. The A-1H has no radar, so the erroneous line giving it one has been deleted.

Douglas A-1 Skyraider Solid Prop Mod v1.1

This comes in handy if you run into conditions where the prop animation doesn't quite work correctly, like running your aircraft along side of certain third-party AI software add-ons....Requires original model by Tim "Piglet" Conrad available on Sim-Outhouse.com, and Flightsim.com....UPDATE V1.1....I have added a third prop tip color scheme (Red White Red) for the "Bubbles 'N Bust" (bubbles.zip) repaint by Russel R. Smith available on various sites. The prop tip color (once the engine was started) did not match each other; my new (Red White Red) prop texture address this issue....I have also tweaked my first two prop textures to further remove any wobble that may have been noticeable from within the VC.

Douglas A-1H Skyraider

File Description:
The A1-H skyraider gained it's popularity during the Vietnam war, but it found it's origin in WOII. This model was originaly designed for CFS2, but now fully functional in/for FS2004. It gives a great thrill to fly it on a hot summer sunrise in Indo-China with palm's waving at you, when you ignite the robust propellor engine with the canopy slided backwards, gently pushing the throttle to maximum and....... Enjoy!
