File Description: This is a complete sound package created specifically for the four engined Avro Lancaster with Rolls-Royce Merlin engines (but will work with any other four engined prop aircraft). This package has been designed so that each engine sounds slightly different, along with their own individual startup and shutdown sounds thus giving them their own character. The result being a loud and very rich sound as they all work together. You could say that this is four sound files in one!.
Parts of this package have been taken from "free to use" FS sound files plus some from FS9 itself which have been blended together to get the best engine sound possible. If you've got a pair of headphones or big speakers on your system, then you're in for a treat. I also recommend downloading my panel (lncpnlv2.zip) from FS2004 Panels, and Dave Garwood's Avro Lancaster to complete the set.

File Description: This file is an updated version of my Avro Lancaster panel. Several changes have been made. Panel light switch, Nav lights switch and Landing lights switch have been added, Also added are left and right mag switches for each engine. The default DC-3 radio stack which it uses has aso been repositioned and resized as it was just too big, and of course, a few things have been moved around to match those of the real panel.
This panel is optimized to run in 1024 X 768 resolution and still uses only FS9 default XML gauges, although many have been modified to suit four engines. I have included all of these "modified" gauges. Nothing else is needed, everything is included in this package.

File Description: Re-upload. Used variously as a long-range freighter and/or passenger airliner, the
York was designed around the wings, engines, undercarriage, and tail
assembly of the Lancaster bomber, adding a box-shaped fuselage and a
center fin. Of a total of 253 production aircraft built, 208 initially
went to the RAF, 25 to BOAC, 12 to BSAA, and 5 to FAMA (Flota Area
Mercante Argentina). Specially fitted VIP versions were used by Winston
Churchill and General de Gaulle. After completing 29,000 sorties in the
Berlin Airlift of 1948-9, many RAF Yorks were sold to charter operators
such as Aviation Traders, Dan Air, Hunting Clan, Lancashire Aircraft
Corporation, and Skyways of London. Some of these re-acquired RAF
roundels for "trooping flights" to the Middle East in the 1950s. From
1955 onward, the Yorks were gradually withdrawn, although some soldiered
on until 1964. Two such veterans have been preserved as museum exhibits
in Duxford and Cosford in the UK. Gmax exterior model and textures by
Manfred Jahn, FDE by Paul Edwards, panel by Phil Perrott (Alphasim),
Paul Edwards, and Lars Fors. A dedicated AI version has been released
separately. The textures in this package represent MW207 of 246 Squadron
RAF, BOAC G-AGNP ("Manchester"), and Skyways G-AHEY. The Flight dynamics are
for a York fitted with Merlin-500 series engines.

File Description: Situated in the UK, Durham Tees Valley Airport is a relatively small Regional Airport serving the North East with various European holiday destinations, Internal Domestic flights, and also has 2 General Aviation Clubs and Parking. Originally an RAF base, (as are most UK airports) It was used as an RCAF Bomber Command Station during WW2 with Lancaster's, Halifax's and Whitley's, then a Fighter Station after the war with Hunters, Javelins and English Electric Lightning’s. It was passed into civil hands in 1964 when the RAF left, Teesside Airport (as it was then know) was born.

File Description: A close derivative of the war-time Lancaster bomber, the Lancastrian was
fitted with streamlined nose and tail cones. Lancastrians were used as
long-range freighters, VIP transports, and jet engine test beds by the
RAF, as fast long-range airliners and mailplanes by Trans Canada Air
Lines, BOAC, BSAA, QUANTAS, and Alitalia, and as tankers by Flight
Refuelling Ltd. Charter operators were Skyways and Silver City.
Eighty-two aircraft were build, but most of them had vanished in
scrapyards by the early nineteen-fifties. In the immediate post-war
years, TCA offered twice-weekly Lancastrian flights from Dorval, Canada,
to Prestwick and London, while BOAC and BSAA (under chief pilot D.C.T.
Bennett) operated flights to Australia and South America, all based on a
rather uneconomical ratio of five crew to up to fourteen passengers. The
outbound leg from Hurn to Learmouth, Australia, took three days and well
over fifty hours flying time, with Lydda, Karachi, and Ceylon serving as
staging posts. BSAA's London to Buenos Aires flight took 56 hours.
Either way, one needs to have plenty of time on one's hands to recreate
these epic journeys. Gmax exterior model and textures by Manfred Jahn,
FDE and 2D panel by Paul Edwards (based on a panel by Phil Perrott of
Alphasim). The three texture sets included represent VM734 of 246
Squadron RAF, G-AGLY ("Norfolk") of BOAC, and G-AKFG of Flight
Refuelling Ltd.

File Description: This stereo sound upgrade of Harry
Follas's Bristol Hercules piston-engine
sounds for FS98 was created primarily
for use with the Handley Page Hermes
by Georg Hauzenberger, but should work
well with any aircraft that was fitted
with these engines. This includes
aircraft such as the Handley Page
Hastings, Grumman Albatross, Nord
Noratlas, Vickers Viking, Short Solent,
Avro Lancaster (Mk2 models) and the
Bristol Beaufighter.
By converting the sounds to FS2004
multiple-engine stereo, the engines
now emit a realistic piston-engine roar
at full throttle, but this quietens
down to a more subtle sound in cruise.
Other associated sounds have been
added - ehgine startup, shutdown and
wind effects in flight. Touchdown
effects will now detect if the
aircraft is landing on ground or
water so you can comfortably use
these sounds with amphibious aircraft.
Requires original FS98 soundpack by
Harry Follas hercsnd.zip (the files
are also distributed with the Handley
Page Hermes and Hastings models and
probably others too.

File Description: This highly detailed panel was designed to use some modified FS9 default gauges which I have included. I have made it using only a painting program and some photos of a real one. This panel will compliment Dave Garwood's fantasic Lancaster but it will also work with any other 4 engined prop aircraft. Happy Flying!
