Twin Lakes Airstrips in British Columbia Canada

File Description:
There are three grass airstrips within sight of each other from the air at Twin Lakes in BC, which is between the close junction of Elkin Lake and Vedan Lake. The two lakes are similarly shaped and sized and in the same narrow valley between high ground that runs north-south; hence the name. Elkin is to the north, and Vedan is to the south. Twin Lakes CAG4 is on the strip of land between the two lakes and it is unclear to me who it belongs to etc. It is not in the Nav Canada copy that I have with me which is from 2010, and the online version does not cover grass strips. It is probably owned by whoever lives in the house next to the red hangar. The runway is 3,600 feet of grass aligned 14-32 at 3,945 feet ASL. Chaunigan Lake Lodge CF83 is over to the northwest from Twin Lakes by around 2 miles or so and as the name suggests it services the Lodge of that name, which is on the northeast corner of Chaunigan Lake. The runway is 2,600 feet of grass aligned 02-20 at 4,900 feet ASL. You might want to read about altitude power reductions for the take off. Elkin Creek Guest Ranch CBL9 is at the southern end of Vedan Lake and serves the ranch. This appears to be another high-budget operation and the runway is 3,670 feet of grass aligned 36-18 at 3,999 feet ASL. I have posted this as three separate airstrips, but I suggest that you add these to your "BC airfields" folder as previously suggested. Up to you. If you find a defect, email me. PAAQ - Palmer Muni - Anchorage, Alaska - USA

File Description:
Palmer PAAQ is in Alaska, some 40 miles northeast of Anchorage on the north side of Knik Arm and beside the west bank of the Matanuska River. It is for both GA and commercial aircraft. There are two apron areas, north and south, separated by the east-west runway. The north apron is for the Forestry Service planes and for resident GA tie-down places and hangars, along with maintenance facilities; the southern end of the north apron is for itinerant aircraft. The south apron is almost entirely for commercial companies and again maintenance. The main runway is just under 6,000 feet long, aligned L16-R34 and asphalted and lit, as is the parallel taxiway A. There is also a shorter and parallel runway that is grass and which receives no winter maintenance. The second main runway is 3,600 feet long and aligned 09-27, asphalt and lit and with a parallel taxiway B, also lit. The airport is undergoing a process of upgrading, which explains the varied colours (and age) of resurfaced taxiways. There are adjustment bgl's for two other neighbourhood airstrips, Toad Lake 24AK and Wolf Track 9AK8, which I just discovered buried in nearby holes in the ground; I also revised their runway surfaces.

File Description:
The northern coast of the Gulf of Alaska is a paradise for Bush pilots. You´ll find many small interesting airstrips and exciting glacier formations up here, especially when you use some third party mesh and landclass files. While it can be used "as is" without any other software, it will develop its full potential if used as moving map with SimSystem´s FSFlightMax or FSGarmin. It is managed by the Idaho Division of Aeronautics of the Idaho Transportation Department. A caretaker resides at the field, and as a result, the turf runway is well cared for. Airstrips of North-West Europe

File Description: The sales blurb for FS2004 announced the inclusion of over 23,000 airfields ... unfortunately a significant number of those consisted of little or nothing more than a runway on a flatten with a rectangular background polygon. To enable the addition of an amount of lightweight GA AI traffic, without overloading those airfields that were designed with parking spaces and taxi-ways, (and are probably already busy), I herewith include over 140 small sceneries, of mostly default airfields, from NW France, up the English Channel and the North Sea coast through Belgium, the Netherlands and NW Germany to Denmark, all with added taxiways and parking spots, aprons, generic buildings and background polygons as appropriate, to enable AI traffic to be generated without interrupting things at the more major airports. A few of the French airfields are "new", not included originally with FS2004, and a couple have been updated to suit more recent developments :- for example, LFES "Scaer Guiscriff" is now LFES "Bretagne Atlantique", LFOR "Chartres Champhol" is now LFOR "Chartres Metropole", EHSE "Seppe" is now EHSE "Breda International" and EKVH "Vesthimmerlands" was previously EKVH "Aars". There's no photo-realism here, just a selection of basic 'generic' buildings, more or less accurately sized and placed to reflect the airfield layout as seen on on-line satellite imagery and aerial photography. These buildings have minimal effect on frame-rates, so are ideal for this kind of job. The airfields are aligned as well as possible with the roads etc. in UT Europe and the Genesis Europe mesh, but should mostly be fine in a default installation or other configuration. Suriname some airports and airstrips

File Description:
There were missing mostly airports and airstrips in Suriname country. I created most missing and some aren't links in data. They have Blue Wings Airlines and Gum Air flying in Suriname area.
