File Description: Afriqiyah Airways is a state-owned airline based in Tripoli, Libya. Before the Libyan civil war of 2011 it operated domestic services between Tripoli and Benghazi, and international scheduled services to over 25 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East; since the end of the war, it has been rebuilding its business. In mid-October 2010, Afriqiyah Airways and Libyan Airlines (Libya's other state flag carrier) were expected to merge into one airline, and, although postponed, the merger is still planned. The name Afriqiyah comes from the Arabic word for African. Afriqiyah Airways' main base is Tripoli International Airport, and the airline is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the International Air Transport Association. Afriqiyah's livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-214 aircraft (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. Afriqiyah Airways Winter 2004/2005

File Description:
FS2002/2004 "Afriqiyah Airways" flight plans for the winter 2004-2005 period, which have been compiled according to the timetable available on their web site (week 10th Jan, 2005 - 16th Jan, 2005). Afriqiyah Airways is a young Libyan airline operating three leased Airbus A320 from Nouvelair Tunisie (two of them are painted in full Afriqiyah colors, while a third one is still in Nouvelair livery) and one Airbus A300-600 VIP aircraft, not included in this timetable. Its home base is Tripoli airport, and currently flies to Abidjan, Accra, Bamako, Bruxelles, Cotonou, Genève, Khartoum, Lagos, Lomé, London-Gatwick, N'Djamena, Niamey, Ouagadougou, and Paris-CDG. Fully compatible with Traffic Tools by Lee Swordy (available on this site).

Air One Nine McDonnell-Douglas DC9-32 (3D-MRO) Libya

File Description: Air One Nine was formed by Libyan oil company One Nine Petroleum in 2001. With two aged Douglas DC-9-32 they offer scheduled domestic flights. The repaint shows 3D-MRO, a 1967 built DC-9-32, which had been in service with KLM, Midwest AL, Executive Aerospace, Toumai Air Chad and South African Express before. Textures only for the AI Aardvark model.

File Description: Antonov CIS AN-26 "Curl", in the color of Libya Arab Air Force. LARAF operates some AN-26 for medium transport aircrafts. I painted six real AN-26: 5A-DOD, 5A-DOF, 5A-DON, 5A-DOH, 5A-DOV and 5A-DOW. TEXTURE ONLY! You need the original model by CIS (see readme file for details). B-24 USAAF 376th BG "Lady be Good"

File Description:
Following an April 4, 1943 bombing raid on Naples, Italy, conducted by the 376th Bomb Group, the Lady Be Good of the 514th Bomb Squadron failed to return to base. After attempts to locate the plane, its nine crewmen were classified as MIA, and presumed dead, believed to have perished after crashing in the Mediterranean. Almost 16 years later on Nov. 9, 1958, several British geologists were flying over the desolate, sun-baked Libyan Desert. At approximately 400 miles south of Soluch, they spotted an aircraft on the sand. A ground party that reached the site in March 1959 discovered the plane to be a B-24D. The "Lady Be Good" had been found. Evidence at the site indicated that the crew had become lost in the dark on return from Naples and had flown over their base and southward into the desert. As their fuel supply became depleted, the nine men aboard had bailed out but had disappeared while attempting to walk northward to civilization. Intensive searches were made for clues as to the fate of the crew, and in 1960 the remains of eight were found, one near the plane and the other seven far to the north. Five had trekked 78 miles across the tortuous sand before perishing and one had gone an amazing 109 miles. In addition, they had lived eight days rather than only two expected of men in this area with little or no water. The body of the ninth man was never found. It is located in the town of Benina, 19 kilometres (12 mi) east of Benghazi, from which it takes its name. The airport is operated by the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Bureau of Libya and is the second largest in the country after Tripoli International Airport. Benina International is also the secondary hub of both Buraq Air and flag carrier, Libyan Airlines.
