File Description:
The scenery includes many airports and locations, including UAON and the Baikonur Cosmodrome where Russia launches all spacecraft. The details are stunning. Some airports are gravel, and some are military use only. I am very sorry to report that the author of this excellant work did not credit himself anywhere within the Russia text document included within this zip file. Google translate pulled only little bits of installation data, but no names. Perhaps he was concerned of prosecution, but I commend him in any case. I do not think any of this is illegal in any way based on today's Google Earth data and our ability to see all the things included within this work. It is truly a beautifully done piece of work, and something I have searched for since scenery were available. It was listed as Freeware without restrictions. This a completely previously unknown scenery compilation found through extensive searches and is original in all respects, designed for FSX.

File Description: INS Vikramaditya was commisioned into the Soviet Navy as Baku in 1988. It is the third and final remaining Kiev class carrier, the other two being Admiral Kuznetsov and Lioning. Like Lioning, Vikramaditya was purchased from Russia but that is pretty much where the similarity ends. The Chinese quietly bought Varyag under the guise that it would be converted into another floating hotel or casino as had been done several times in the past; then, almost to everyones surprise, they re-built and announced they had an aircraft carrier. India contracted with Russia to complete the refit which began an epic saga of international proportions that encompassed espionage, honey traps and logarithmically expanding budgets. Originally promised for 2008, the latest quotes expect delivery in October/November 2013. I think the carrier looks very sporty or yacht-like, with the ski-jump bow and the oversized island which has been criticized for being too far into the middle of the deck; it is said to be India's final non-indigenous warship and future flagship to serve for the next 20 to 30 years. This model is intended for placement with AI Carriers, by Lamont Clark. It has animated radars, working cables, catapults and deck lights. The IFLOS is calibrated, but the catapults will only activate if the airplane deploys a launch bar. The Vikramaditya uses retractable chocks to allow aircraft to develop full thrust, but I could not find a way to lock an aircraft to represent the STOBAR configuration without using catapults. I did not define the elevators because they do not operate and are in the middle of the deck. There are two ships included for escort, the INS Talwar and a Russian Fregat II class ASW destroyer. They have hard decks and night lighting, animated radars, funnel smoke, etc.

Kaliningrad Oblast landclass

File Description:
This small scenery will upgrade landclass in the Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. The scenery was done with superb SbuilderX by Louis Sa. It adds forestes, fields and small cities in the area. Happy flying!

File Description: Moscow City X DEMO is a very detailed model of Moscow metropolitan area in Russia, together with lite sceneries of 7 airports (UUWW Vnukovo, UUDD Domodedovo, UUBW Zhukovski, UUMO Ostafyevo, UUBM Myachkovo and UUMB Kubinka), many heliports and thousands of buildings. This product is fully compatible with FSX/FSX:SE/P3Dv1/P3Dv2/P3Dv3/P3Dv4 and FSW by Dovetail. It's a fully functional DEMO version of the commercial payware product, copmatible with both UUEE Moscow Sheremetyevo X by Drzewiecki Design and UUDD Moscow Domodedovo FSX/P3D by MDesign. It features same airport layout as in the full version but with limited 3D objects and low resolution textures. NSA - Pine Gap Australia

File Description: Joint Defense Facility Pine Gap is a satellite tracking station in the Australian outback operated by the United States intelligence community. The location is strategically significant because it controls United States spy satellites as they pass over the one third of the globe which includes China, the Asian parts of Russia and the Middle East. Central Australia was chosen because it was too remote for spy ships passing in international waters to intercept the signal. The facility has been described as the ground control and processing station for geosynchronous satellites engaged in signals intelligence collection. JDF Pine Gap is ran by the CIA, NSA, and NRO and is a key location in the global ECHELON surveillance network. Includes a helipad startup location with YPGP ident. Scenery by Jason L. Terry.

PAWS - Wasilla Airport - Wasilla, AK

File Description:
Here is an improved version of the stock Wasilla Airport. FSX had no buildings at all here but a lot of GA parking spaces. I removed some parking spaces and added buildings per an aerial photo. I added quite a bit of "eye-candy" in the form of static airplanes and vehicles, and other filler objects. There is some spectacular scenery in this area, but you can't see Russia from here.

This is Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Airport in Kamchatsky Russia.It use to be a very important military field duing the cold war, but has now become more important to vulcanologist and scientist.All along the coast towards the north and south are numorous huge vulcanos that are still active.It is made from default FSX librarys and a custom AFCAD from google earth.It will not work in FS9 ! It is freeware.
