Al Pelletier's Round Robins - SAS
|
|
File Description: This one is also a favorite of mine, written back in 2002. It was based on a route flown by a good friend of mine, Stellan Himerby, who is/was a pilot with SAS. At the time, Stellan also had a good web site and a great DC-9 for download. I notice that it is now gone. But read on anyway and fly this great, still flown, route of SAS. You will be flying it exactly as they are still operating this route! Please keep in mind the date it was written. You might find some frequencies that have changed, that I might not be aware of, but as a whole, it should still be fairly accurate.

Al Pelletier's Round Robins - UPS
|
|
File Description: This one was written in 2005 and is also based on a true to life route. At, the time, a friend of mine, Capt Dan Wells, was flying this trip for UPS in an Airbus A300. If you follow his exact routing(s), you will be treated to a great experience, I promise you.

Albatros D.Va - Jasta 300
|
|
File Description: Albatros D.Va of Jasta 2(F) (Jasta 300) probably flown by Hermann Kunz or Franz Walz, Palestine, March/April 1918. Skin for "Wings of War". (REMARK: The swastika on the fuslage of this plane was a good luck symbol, and in this era had no political connotations attached to it.)

An American Pilot's Guide to Virtual Flying in Poland
|
|
File Description: A guide to help American virtual pilots while flying on VATSIM to understand the procedures of Polish airspace (which I understand to be generally used throughout Europe and the UK except for some local variations) and to recognize some differences between those procedures and the commonly used procedures and phraseology in the US (which are also built into Flight Simulator ATC).

Another Jetstream 41 checklist with mini-guidelines
|
|
File Description: This archive contains yet another Bae JS41 checklist. I
created it for:
--people that don't fly the J41 that often
--People new to the aircraft
It's mostly a checklist but it has some reminders about
things you need to have in mind about the J41:
--Power settings
--Where to be level by
--A simplified guide for the FMS (but useful!)
--A practical guide to getting destination weight for
landing speeds (using the FMS, weight and balance sheet
and speed cards).
Some of this stuff came out of the tutorial, some of it
from other good checklists. I tried to aggregate the best parts.
Feel free to modify it to your heart's content, extract
parts, etc. If you find anything in error or which could be done better then, please, let me know.
