Aircraft and Panel Config Editor 1.3.1

File Description:
This is a small utility designed to make it a little easier to edit Aircraft.cfg and Panel.cfg files in FS2004/FS2002. Very frequently the name of a folder in your Aircraft directory does not match the aircraft name displayed in Flight Simulator and it becomes difficult to find the folder that contains the aircraft you wish to edit. (At least on my system!) So, I developed this little utility that will list all your aircraft by the names displayed in Flight Simulator. Just select the aircraft from the list to edit the Aircraft or Panel configuration file for that aircraft. Requires the VB6 Runtime (vbrun60.exe) files. Freeware.

File Description:
This program will allow the user to modify their AI aircraft CFG and model to match the new standards for FS2004 AI parking system. You can add the atc_parking_codes and atc_parking_types for any repaint in your FS2004 aircraft folder using the same data set that uses AFCAD2 by Lee Swordy. Also you can modify the radius setting of your mdl files to match the Project Ai (www.projectai.com) parking standards.

Aircraft Payload Planner

File Description:
This program has been created for the purposes of quickly being able to determine the payload of your aircraft based on the number of passengers boarding your flight. The following values were used to calculate the total payload: If its winter: 174lbs a person If its not winter: 170lbs a person Carry on bags: 16lbs (max 1) for domestics or 2 for internationals Checked bags: 30lbs (max 1) for domestics or 33lbs (max 2) for internationals It is assumed that every passenger has a carry on bag and a checked bag, and 2 of each on international flights.

AirEd152 Update

File Description:
AirEd(itor) has become one of the most versatile .air-file editors for MSFS 2000 up to 2004/FS9. For FS9 in particular the treatment of section [1101] has become pivotal for tuning the aerodynamics of FS9 aircraft. Yet, for many users the expert jargon remains obscure. Yahia now provides more information on [1101], making tuning easier to understand! References to the CFG file are made as well. Just right-click on an item in [1101] to see new amendments, test values and hints. Some divert from earlier insights or explain where things can go wrong. Also about taxiing are some new hints. This utility displays AI aircraft around user plane in AI map or AI list forms, enables AI aircraft forward, fly by or spot plane views and has its own built-in traffic alert system. In forward view eyepoint is tied to AI aircraft in front of virtual cockpit with ability to change look direction. Fly by view has adjustable parameters and random options.
