1909 Curtiss Reims Racer
File Description: In 1909, the first international air race was held at or near Reims (Rheims), France. The La Grande Semaine d'Aviation air race meet gave American Glenn Curtiss his first air race win when he won top honors during the 7 day event (August 22-29, 1909). This is a precise model of Curtiss' winning aircraft and though it was originally designed for FS2002, testing by AVSIM's Bear shows it to work great in COF. The original 2D panel was alias to the FS2002 Sopwith Camel, but Bear has re-alias'd the panel cfg file to the COF Wright Flyer. Excellent sounds and virtual cockpit.

1911 Curtiss Kruse
File Description: A great COF aircraft depicting a real aircraft flown by my great-uncle Frank Kruse. This aircraft apparently was built using the plans of a Curtiss (late 1909 or 1910) and is very similar to the Wright Flyer EX (like of which Cal Rodgers flew in the first crossing of the United States in 1911). Excellent replacement aircraft (rather than the Cub that the default adventure uses) for the FS2004 COF adventure of Cal Rodgers flight. Aircraft was designed using FSDS2 and was originally released for FS2002, but testing by AVSIM's Bear shows it to work excellently in COF.

File Description: 1933 B-2 Kinner Sportwing for FS9 by Golden Age Simulations. The B-2 Sportwing was manufactured by the Kinner Airplane and Motor Corp in Glendale California. The Sportwing was a sport-type version of the standard "Sportster".In spite of it's small production number, The B-2 became fairly well known by it's good reputation and remained popular throughout the western states.

1938 Aeronca K
File Description: An elegant little princess, the K was the only Aeronca model to survive the catastrophic 1937 flood. It's also my first successful (I think) cabin plane. The K still used the 37 hp engine of the homely model C, but included yoke control in a fully enclosed cabin and provided a more comfortable, much safer and certainly better looking aircraft. The virtual aircraft includes my usual mediocre 2D panel, a VC, standard animation for the type and reflective textures. Doors open with Shift+E. You can toggle the wheelpants on or off with the strobe light key. Also includes U.S. and Canadian versions, and Dave Eckerts' pilot figure. I've optimized for FS9 in that almost all the gauges are FS9 and I've started with an FS9 airfile. PLEASE read the Readme!! Not being the brightest fellow, I've had trouble getting images to appear in the description, use Zipdive to see some in the Zip file.

1938 Ryan SC-W
File Description: The smart-looking 2-3 place GA aircraft intended for recreational and general transportation use as an alternative to the ST trainer. The SC was not for aerobatics like her older sister, but made a fine touring or cruising ship. 145 hp Warner power.
Model has reflective textures, Dave Eckert's pilot figure and the usual animation for the type, including the perforated landing flap. Also 2D panel of fair quality and a VC.
U.S. and Canadian versions.

File Description: The De Havilland Heron must be the smallest four engine airliner in the world! And it can take off and land almost anywhere. This, the first in my Three Herons series, represents the Mark 1 variety with fixed undercarriage. This is G-ANXB - named Sir James Simpson, which served British European Airways for many years serving the Scottish islands and regularly used to land on the beach at Barra. This package includes a high detail panel featuring many new gauges. As these gauges are common to all three in this series, these have been placed in a separate download herongg.zip. File Description: The De Havilland Heron must be the smallest four engine airliner in the world! And it can take off and land almost anywhere. This, the second in my Three Herons series, represents the Mark 2B variety with the luxury of retractable undercarriage giving improved performance. This is G-AOGO - one of nine Herons that served the airline for many years on charter work and scheduled services to the Channel Islands, West Wales and Holland from Croydon (initially) and Gatwick Airports. This package includes a high detail panel featuring many new gauges. As these gauges are common to all three in this series, these have been placed in a separate download herongg.zip.
