Barletta Puglia Italy N41.19.15 E16.17.19. The city is characterized by the Castle of Barletta a quadrangular building with, at the corners, the characteristic lance-shaped towers-walls, dating back to the eleventh century, was built by the Normans, as evidenced by the largest tower incorporated in the southern area of the current building. During the Crusades it became a habitual shelter for the knights departing and arriving from the Holy Land. Important is also the Cathedral with its opposite square where the "Colossus of Barletta" is found a large bronze statue 4,50mt of the 5th Century depicting a senior officer of the Roman army called, according to the legend, Heraclius.Important VFR point for approaching airport Bari Palese or Foggia Gino Lisa. Ray has given me permission to adapted his scenery for Prepar3Dv2 and replaces file Prepar3d_rwc_kjfk.zip This airport update incorporates two optional files, one version with the Crosswind runways activated and in full operation where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation: assigned parking now updated as per their website including gates for the A380, Terminal 3 demolished, Delta has now moved much of its operations to T4 as well as using T2, the new terminal extension added to T4 concourse B and allocated only for Delta connection, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, the freeway traffic that crosses taxiways A and B now ends before these taxiways, Autogen around the water edges of the airport removed, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation. This version reflects the current changes taking place at the airport with two optional files, one version with the Crosswind runways operating where all 8 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default airport runway operation: Runway 14R/32L now corrected to 15/33 and the approaches corrected for it, runway 14L/32R now permanently closed, Northeast cargo and General aviation ramps updated, all aprons, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, assigned parking as per their website with extra parking including 2 gates for the A380, the new southwest cargo ramp updated including the new South ATC tower, E Irving Park Rd moved to its new location, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements.

This is Ray Smith's 'fsx_yssy_rs.zip' file made for FSX. Ray has given me permission modify his file and make it available for Prepar3Dv4. This is a reasonably accurate version of YSSY to reflect todays situation with two optional files and made, one file with the Crosswind runway 7/25 activated where all 3 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one file as the default airport runway operation. The International Terminal has been redesigned and now includes night lighting, assigned parking as per their website for the Domestic terminal only, Intl parking spots are random with seven gates added for the A380, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, Marsh St and its Bridge added also included are Airport Drive and Link Rd, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt, lighted helipad with the area buildings and many other scenery improvements and objects added.
