EVA was growing quickly in 1998, focusing on international routes and leaving most of the domestic flying to its subsidiary, Uni Air. The MD-90s were very quickly transferred to Uni Air by late 1998, so these plans represent a rare time with a pair of MD-90s in the old EVA Air colors. EVA had amassed a decent fleet of 747s by 1998 and was even flying a KHH-LAX route several times weekly. Most MD-11s were already flying for EVA Cargo, and the 3 pax MD-11s remaining had the "ANK EVA" partnership logo. | Korean Air 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Korean Air was one of only 2 airlines doing domestic Korean flights in 1998, with Korean Air having a much larger market share than Asiana and extensively flying the A300s on many domestic routes. By 1998, Korean Air had converted(to a freighter) or retired most of the 747-200s, 747-300s, MD-11s and A300B4s, but they were still in the fleet in very small numbers. The A330-300 and 777-200 were also starting to join the fleet very slowly with a few examples of each. The MD-80s and Fokker 100s were being used in decent numbers on both domestic flights and flights to Japan and China. The 747SPs were active but only picked up flying as spare airplanes, so they mostly sit in GMP but during the week do GMP-SFO-DEN, GMP-NRT-LAX-GMP, and GMP-HKG flights taken from 747-400s. As is the case with some of these plans, to upkeep 100% of the OAG flight schedule using the limitations of AI in flight simulator, there are a few extra planes(4x MD-80 and 1x Fokker 100) in these plans with fake registration numbers. The user may decided if they'd rather see all real life flights or the real amount of aircraft. Ranmori has painted a 727-200 as a bonus, and I gave these extra 4 MD-80s registration numbers from 727s and segregated them from the flightplans in case you wish to use the 727, but in real life it was retired in late 1996. Note that these plans and all 1998 plans use the Seoul-Gimpo airport(GMP/RKSS) as Incheon(ICN/RKSI) did not open until 2001. Textures by Ranmori Scythe for the AIA MD-80, Fokker 100, FAIB 747-200, 747-300, 747-400, 747SP FSPX 777-200, A330-300, MD-11, TFS A300B4 and A300-600R along with the AIA 727-200 bonus included. File Description:
JEX was created by JAL as a new low-cost product based at Osaka-Itami(ITM\RJOO). While the JEX of today flies 42 737s on behalf of JAL, JEX of 1998 had just started operations with only 2 737-400s flying. You may find JEX mostly at Osaka-Itami(ITM) between flights to Miyazaki and Kagoshima. Texture for the FAIB 737-400 by Ranmori Scythe is included. | ALM Antillean Airlines 1998 |

File Description:
In 1998, ALM was just 3 years from failure. The airline was operating 3 MD-82s and 4 DHC-8-300s mostly from CUR onwards to nearby nations as well as to ATL and MIA, while frequenting SXM as well. Now, I did the best I could, but this airlines schedule was a mess! It would often show the same flight number being flown at 3 or 4 different times on the same day with slight variation (as in LM810 CUR-BON leaving at 1505, 1510, and 1515 ALL on Friday, which is obviously an error). A very odd schedule. None the less, I was able to put it together with just 1 extra DHC-8-300 which is segregated if you don't wish to include it. The DHC-8s often turn in 10-15 minutes, and the MD-80s in 25-30, so the fleet keeps rather busy. TFS DHC-8-300 repaint by Christian Gold and Antoine Calleja\APG included. | Martinair 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Martinair was Holland's premiere charter outfit for many years before consolidating to an all-cargo operation several years back. In 1998, Martinair had a large scheduled operation to supplement their charter operations with 747-200s, MD-11s, and 767-300s. The 747's only scheduled route was a weekly flight to Cancun(CUN/MMUN), the rest of the 747 flights are charters. All scheduled flights are included as well as charters that I based off information found around the internet and a wide range of destinations are served. Note that the airline was celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1998 and many of the aircraft had special titles. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson.
