This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A-50-DL 42-24265 6E-C, which flew with the 44th TCS/316th TCG, taking part in the parachute drops at D-Day, Market Garden and Operation Varsity. After the war, it had several owners in the US and South America until 1978, when it crashed in Guatemala. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47A 42-92847 3X-W "That's All, Brother!"of the 438th TCG, based in Greenham Common, England. It was the aircraft that was the lead plane with the parachute droppings on the night of D-Day, dropping men of 502nd PIR of the 101st Airborne Division arond 00:48. It then returned to Greenham Common and later that day pulled a glider to Normandy to reinforce the 82nd Airborne Division. Later it evacuated wounded from France, took part in Operation Market Garden, flew supplies to Bastogne, took part in Operation Varsity, before returning to the US in 1945. It passed through the hands of several private owners, is rumoured to have flwon for the CIA, and was restored as an AC-47 gunship by the Aero heritage Museum in 2004.. In 2008 it went to Basler for conversion to a turboprop BT-67, when somebody recognised the significance of this aircraft. A kickstarter campaign secured the purchase by the Commemorative Air Force, who are planning to restore her to her D-Day configuration. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of F-AZBE, an AT-6C c/n 88-13399, serial 41-33726. It went to the RAF as EX753 and in 1953 to the Belgian Air Force as H-210. It was armed and used in the Belgian Congo, where it was shot down near the bridge of Inkisi on 17 July 1960. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of F-AZBE, an AT-6C c/n 88-12127, serial 41-33606. It went to the RAF as EX633 and in 1947 to the Belgian Air Force as H-29 until 1958. It then went to France as F-BJBI and F-WBJI before becoming F-AZBE. It has been with the Salis Collection at La Ferté Alais since 1989. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of T-6G I-SSEP. It was built as a T6-D in 1944, with c/n 121-41586 / 44-80865. It was converted to a T-6G in 1951, becoming 51-14462. After being operated for about a year in North Carolina, it went to Italy as part of the Mutual Defence Assistence Program, becoming MM 54101 of the Aeronautica Militare Italiano. Over the years, it was assigned the codes AA-40, RM-11 and RB-11, ending up at the airport of Bari, where is was more or less forgotten. It was bought by its current owners, a team led by pilots Sandro Pagiarin (who supplied pictures for this repaint) and Luca Eusepi, and painstakingly restored, making its first flight in 2004. It is painted in the colors of a T-6C that flew with the 604th Squadron of the 4th Stormo of Grosseto in the '50's and '60's. It is operated by the Historical Aircraft Group, based in Grosseto. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of a Harvard MK.IIA c/n 88-12327 OO-GER, which was originally 41-33634, before going to the RAF as EX661, and on to the SAAF as 7315. After the war, it went to the Belgian Air Force as H-31. It was sold to COGEA Nouvelle of Oostende, Belgian as a target tug, becoming OO-GER in 1958. It is believed to have ended up in the Katangan Air Force in Africa. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of a AT-16-ND Harvard IIB PH-UEI of the Rijksluchtvaartschool, the Netherlands, 1950-1960. Originally c/n 14-190, USAAF 42-653, RAF FE456. It went to the Rijksluchtvaartschool in 1950 and was used until 1960, when it was sold to COGEA of Oostende, Belgium, becoming OO-JBW. Parts of this aircraft I believe still exist, the fuselage is in Haacht and the wings in Meerhout. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.
