YBJW Banjawarn Station, Western Australia

File Description:
YBJW Banjawarn Station is a remote sheep station in Western Australia. It is situated 220 miles (350 km) north of Kalgoorlie and 500 miles (800 km) north east of Perth, on the edge of the Great Victoria Desert. It covers an area of 500,000 acres (780 square miles), about the size of West Yorkshire and a little smaller than the Australian Capital Territory. In the 1990's Banjawarn was owned by the Aum Shinrikyo and following the Tokyo subway attack was the subject of an Australian Federal Police investigation. YANN Annean Station, Western Australia

File Description:
YANN Annean Station - A shorthorn cross station in the Meekatharra gold mining region - REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip from www.alanblencowe.com. This zipfile actually contains two versions, the default FSX and the ORBX model modified to fit with the seasonal water inundation of the strip. Due to the airstrip being in the lake in summer (ORBX only) it is necessary to modify the strip extensively and re-create the land. As the ORBX roads are incorrectly placed, they are masked out near the homestead.

YAHD Ashburton Downs Station is a remote cattle station in Western Australia and includes dirt strips at two locations and the homestead complex. The dirt strip to the east of the homestead is the original but it may still be used in the wet as this area is regularly subject to inundation. This is where mining magnate Lang Hancock grew up.

YLUW Leeuwin Estate Winery, Western Australia

YLUW Leeuwin Estate, one of the founding wineries of the now famous Margaret River district, consistently produces wines that rank with the world's finest. In 1972, following an extensive search for the area most suitable to produce the best varietal wines in Australia, legendary American winemaker, Robert Mondavi, identified the future site of the Leeuwin vineyard. Originally a cattle farm, Leeuwin Estate evolved, under the direction of Denis and Tricia Horgan, with Robert Mondavi acting as consultant and mentor. A nursery was planted in 1974 and the initial vineyards were deep-ploughed, deep-ripped, emptied of stone, planned, pegged, measured, marked and eventually planted by hand over a five year period from 1975. Featuring state-of-the art facilities, the winery building was opened in 1978, celebrating with a trial vintage. Leeuwin enjoyed its first commercial vintage in 1979, and was thrust into the international spotlight when Decanter Magazine gave its highest recommendation to the 1980 "Art Series" Chardonnay in an international blind tasting. "10-03-2011 - March update for Nugadong Airport RedevelopmentWe are pleased to announce that the project to redevelop the Nugadong Airport is progressing well. Originally there were three areas that required upgrade; Airstrip Reseal, Installation of Animal Proof Fencing, and the construction of a Patient Transfer Facility. However, after successful negotiations with funding bodies we were abile to restructure the project to include the installation of a Taxiway & Apron. We are also pleased to announce that the project is on track to achieve it's May deadline. YMBE Mooliabeenie Siding, Western Australia (closed)

File Description:
YMBE Mooliabeenie Siding is a disused 1,500 m (4,900 ft) long satelite airstrip which was used by the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and associated with the Caversham Airfield at Middle Swan. Like the Caversham Airfield, the Mooliabeenee Airfield was later used an auto racetrack. Local car clubs regularly use the site for motorkhana events. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip
