Gmax representation of Piet Retief Airfield (FAPF), Mpumalanga, South Africa with photoreal textures. Piet Retief airfield is a small airfield with a grass/dirt runway measuring 1 371m. The airfield is situated between the trees of the lush Sappi forests between the town of Piet Retief and the Swaziland border at an elevation of 4 420ft. There is an NDB for a "Breakcloud" procedure onto rwy 15.

All airfield structures/buildings were accurately modeled in Gmax (detailed models) and contain high quality photo real textures. Even if the two sides on a hangar differ in real life, they differ in this package as well. The gate that leads to the Ndebele village of Botshabello, just outside Middelburg, and which passes by under your starboard wing on final approach to runway 32, is included in great detail as well.

File Description:
Robben Island is an island in Table Bay, some seven kilometers off the coast
of Cape Town, South Africa. The name is Dutch for "Seal Island". Robben Island
is roughly oval shaped with a disused gravel airstrip. It is of particular note
as it was here that former South African President and Nobel Laureate Nelson
Mandela and former South African President Kgalema Motlanthe, alongside many
other political prisoners were imprisoned. During the Second World War, the
island was fortified and guns were installed as part of the defences for Cape
Town. Please install fsxWorx01, fsxWorx02, and the updates before this
scenery.

This is an upgrade of the previous release of FABW. Because of its strategically geographical important position, this small Airport is becoming more popular, especially with pilots of smaller aircraft. As a stopover, refuelling point between Cape and the Northern Provinces, East and West, its popularity is growing by the day. The airport Manager and his wife who offers B&B as well as a beautiful night out at "the gateway to the Karoo" as they call it, see to a splendid and enjoyable open and star filled overnight for those who care to call. File Description:
Ermelo is a delightfully cool, high- lying town on the eastern highveld of Mpumalanga District of South Africa. Because of its geographical situation on the eastern border of the jutting out position of Swaziland, it is a popular refueling airfield for smaller aircraft, when not flying through the airspace of Swaziland from the NE of Limpopo Province to the SE of Kwazulu Natal or back. An airfield that is very often covered in morning fog during the months from February to May.
A photo realistic attempt of the airport was made by the team and the result was quite an accurate replica on the true footprints of the actual buildings. Does require fsxWorx01.zip and updates.
