Terra Firma Ground Detail

File Description:
Well, most of you probably have used a couple of different detail1.bmp textures either for FS9 or FSX. Many of those seemed to be aimed at achieving a grassy look. With this texture however I have tried to create a more alround yet more detailed look that will work on pretty much any terrain, whether you fly over mountains, farming fields or beautiful forests. I've kept the texture size at 1024 x 1024 simply because I think it blends in better that way with the underlying default textures. And even with high quality addons I prefer this specific texture to enhance the underlying textures, I don't feel it should dominate it. I'm an avid virtual bushflyer so I find myself flying over natural areas most of the time. So with that in mind I didn't try to create this texture for urban areas, however I don't think it looks that bad over cities.

CAK3 - Delta Heritage Airpark

File Description:
Welcome to Delta Heritage Airpark! "Delta" is an uncontrolled aerodrome located south of Vancouver in Delta, British Columbia. It's the home of RAAC Chapter 85, the Boundary Bay Flying Club and COPA Flight 5.

I have redevelopped the club, reorganised the tarmac for proper access to hangar and other building, including the famous roundabout for aircraft traffic, added the 50 ft obstable for RWY 25 and of course many Gliders as well as the farm life. Got to go back and see if there is farmers around there though...;) Anyway, hope you'll enjoy your stop-over in Delta Heritage in your Light aircraft....as it is a "grass" airfield of 2600ft long! ;)

Carora Airport (SVCO) - Venezuela

File Description:
Regional airport located in the city of Carora, the second city of the Lara state after Barquisimeto, in western Venezuela. With photo-terrain scenery from satellite imagery in Google Earth. Not compatible with versions prior to FSX. This scenery includes terminal building and hangars with realistic textures from images obtained from Internet. Also includes a friendly Auto-Install.

FSX patch for Rio de Janeiro mesh

File Description:
FSX brings as default a very good mesh for Rio de Janeiro City, showing the Sugar Loaf very detailed, in LOD 10. However, that mesh cover a limited area and changes its resolution to LOD 6, yet in a mountainous region. The consequences are visibles cuts in the relief, mainly in Paralel S22* 30'. The solution we found was to compile the neighbours area at North, West and East, in LOD10 resolution changing to LOD 9, so to smooth the transition from those differents resolutions.

LDZA Zagreb Airport

File Description:
Zagreb Airport (IATA: ZAG, ICAO: LDZA), also known as Pleso Airport after the nearby suburb of Pleso, is the main international airport of Croatia and also a Croatian Air Force and Air Defence major fighter jet base. Located 10 km (6.2 mi) from Zagreb Central Station in Zagreb, it served 2,319,098 passengers in 2011 and is the primary hub for Croatian flag carrier Croatia Airlines. Expansion of the airport is due to start in 2012. This file has the right coordenates, apron and characteristics of the airport, airport vehicules and buildings, Airport altitud is adjusted but it minimal so you do not need and ALT file. Charts included.

Airport has lighted asphalt runway so can be used 24 hours.I have designed it with photoreal background, with summer and winter seasons. It has animated wind- socks and wind gauges. This terrain mesh is a work in progress, it was started more than two years ago and was never finished. While the files uploaded here have been checked thoroughly there may be errors. If you find any obvious errors please do let me know by email, my intention is to eventually finish this project as the difference in the before and after is astounding especially in areas where I have also included new coastlines. This mesh does cover some border areas of the United States of America too and eventually my intentions are to provide the same product coverage there including higher LOD levels where data is available.
