File Description:
The Project Airbus A318 Painted in TWA's livery. TWA did not actually operate any A318s at the time of its existense. However, they did have 50 A318 on order but they were later cancelled by AA after TWA merged with American Airlines. This repaint represents what the TWA A318 may have looked like if it ever was to exist. Since no real and accurate reference were available, there are no guarentees that this repaint is 100% accurate, however real TWA reference were used and consulted (ex. 767, 747, MD80). The registration is N318TW. Exterior texture in 32bit, night textures in DXT5 for best performance. FSX thumbnail included. Textures in BMP format, compatible with both FSX and FS9. Requires Project Airbus A318 model.

A texture set for Manfred Jahn's C-47 showing c/n 25928 in Rhodesian Air Services colours registration VP-YUU. The aircraft was delivered to the USAF as 43-48667 in 1943. In 1944 she was transfered to the RAF as KJ897. From 1951 she was registered as G-AMKE and was operated first by Field's and then BEA. From 1961 to 1962 she was leased to South Pacific Airlines of NZ. In 1962 she was bought by Rhodesian Air Services and later sold to Central African Airways, eventually becoming 9J-RDR when transfered to Zambia Airways after the break up of CAA. The front section of her fuselage was preserved as a "Dak in the wall" pub at Phoebus Apollo Aviation in Johannesburg.

File Description:
After my initial work on the Project airbus A318 (V1.2) and on the project Airbus A319 (A319 Special Version V2), I present my special version of the Project Airbus A318 Version 2, which includes many improvements and new features.
The instrument panel has been adapted of the Stefan Liebe work, on which I have added many changes. I created a vertical navigation gauge (VNAV gauge) which manages automatically the climb of the aircraft like a FMC (it can be work in several stage), with pre-programmed data according the weight of the aircraft and the altitude. The autopilot is constant MACH, with a transition altitude of 25000ft, thus avoiding the risk of overspeed. The ND will display information page in real time on the flight plan, an information page on the destination airport and display the radar map of the terrain, with AI traffic in real time.
All instruments are active in the VC and 2D panel. The instruments were completed by a multitude of small details. I have improved the autolanding function, with a soft landing (rounded). There is a complete operating manual in PDF format, in English and in French. Of course, TOGA mode and Autobrake mode works. Only compatible with FSX SP2 or Acceleration. See the readme file and the user manual for information and copyright. This version is also a big upgrade on the A318 special version 1.0 and 1.2. This is not an update, but a new aircraft. Project Airbus A318 - Airbus Industrie (CSHD) Texture only. New 2048x2048 pixles HD resolution with custom windows, details, shadows, markings and reworked alpha channels to create a realistic shine effect on the airplane. It took about 2 months to create the custom CSHD paintkit and 2 weeks to create the texture.
