File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of PH-NDL, c/n 961, a former RAF Argus III (HB723) that came to the Netherlands in 1949. It is shown here in the colors of Flashband Rondvluchten from Rotterdam, where it flew in 1968=69. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

Fairchild 24 (2/96) Swedish Air Force

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of 2/96, a civilian Fairchild 24 that was impressed into the Swedish Air Force. At the outbreak of war, many civilian aircraft were mobilized. Most of them was larger aircraft, but lighter aircraft for liaison work were also used. The Naval Aviation Wing of F 2 at Hägernäs needed smaller aircraft for transport of personnel and liaison in their co-operation with the Navy. For this reason, one Fairchild 24-C8CS-De Luxe was mobilized between May of 1940 and February of 1943. Its earlier civil registration was SE-AIR (in the USA ex NC15926). It was powered with a Warner Super Scarab S50 air-cooled radial engine delivering 145 hk. The aircraft was designated Tp 6 and got the Air Force number 912. At the delivery of the Tp 6 in May of 1940 to the Air Force, it crashed. But it was repaired and in service again in October the same year. After its time in the Air Force, the Fairchild went back to the civil register, where it was written off in 1951 after another crash. Dassault Mirage IIIC (A3-48) RAAF

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the freeware Restauravia Mirage IIIC. It shows RAAF Mirage IIIO A3-48, which was delivered to the RAAF in 1967. It is shown here in the paintscheme it wore when flying with 2 OCU. The aircraft later flew with 76 sqn, 3 sqn and 77 sqn, before being withdrawn in 1987 and sold to Pakistan. Fairchild 24 (VH-AVN)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-AVN Argus II, which was originally built as a UC-61 Forwarder and assigned USAAC serial 42-13578, but it actually went straight to the RAF under Lend Lease as EV806.After the war, it was civilianized in 1946 as G-AJKM and purchased by Kingsford Smith Aviation Services in 1953, becoming VH-AVN. It flew in the colors of this paint in 1955 from Adelaide. It later flew in NSW, before being exported to France and becoming F-AZCF. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

Fairchild 24 (VH-ALF)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-ALF.This aircraft (c/n 339) was built with the USAAC serial of 42-32134, and was shipped as part of the Lend Lease program to the U.K. becoming FK330. In 1948 it was civilianized as G-AKJL. It was first registered in Australia in July, 1951. Interestingly, the site athttp://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1942_2.html states that it was returned to the USA in 1947. That being the case, did the USA state that they didn't want it, and return it to the U.K. again? If not, how then did it get to be registered in the the U.K. in 1948? Or maybe it WAS to have been returned but did not. Anyway, it was back at Lithgow, NSW in May 1973. At present, it is painted in a "war bird" livery, based at Wedderburn, NSW. Incidentaly, since this machine was an Argus I with the RAF it is extremely unlikely that it ever bore USAAF markings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

Focke Wulf TA152 RAF

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Classics Hangar FW190D / TA152 package, in the colors of WkNr 150168, originally 'green 9' with JG301, which was captured by the British Army, and used for flight testing by Eric 'Winkle' Brown at Farnborough. The aircraft was exhibited with other captured aircraft in 1946 and later scrapped. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the blank textures by Classics Hangar.
