Emerald Lake

File Description:
"Emerald Lake" (YEWA), Queensland, Australia. Emerald Lake is the international headquarters and home base for EastWest Airlines VA and is situated 18 kilometres from Emerald. Emerald Lake is nestled on the foreshores of Lake Maraboon, Queensland's second largest lake. It is 265 km west of Rockhampton and 900km from Brisbane. The lake is a massive 15000 hectares surface area. Emerald Lake consists of two ILS runways 13000’ & 6000’ a space-age international and domestic terminal cluster using 8 Skyways, super sized hangars to accommodate future super jets, a flying club, cargo division, RFDS Base and a fully manned tower, a water runway and amphibian base. There is a resort, a marina, residential area (under construction) on the shores of the lake adjacent to the airport and connected by a road network.

Skukuza Airport Scenery

File Description:
Scenery for Skukuza Airport, South Africa. This file will add a few standard scenery objects, including a small terminal and an animated hangar, to the airport. Please note that this scenery was created for my AFCAD2 file for Skukuza (fasz.zip available here at Avsim) and therefore will not work with the default AFCAD2 file.

Clear Lake City Metroport

File Description:
Clear Lake City (KCLC) was a small privately-owned field south of Houston and near the Johnson Space Center. It was owned by Metro Airlines, who operated commuter flights between KCLC and Houston Intercontinetal, beginning in 1969. The primary market for Metro was NASA, but as south Houston grew, it also became a choice for others not wishing to make the long drive to Intercontinental. The closure of Ellington AFB and continued growth doomed the Metroport and with the cessation of operations by Metro in the late 1980's, the Metroport closed and demolished. Today, NASA is served by Continental Express, which operates a similar air shuttle service between Intercontinental and Ellington. This is primarily for use with the 1983 Metro Airlines AI flightplans from the Retro AI Traffic Group, but is fully functional.

UKSD - Military Airfields in Yorkshire

File Description:
Four Military Airfields in Yorkshire, UK. RAF Topcliffe, RAF Linton-on-Ouse, RAF Dishforth, RAF Church Fenton. Each airfield has realistically modelled RAF World War 2 buildings, including; Officers mess, MT Section, Workshops, Barrack blocks, Hangers, Towers, Station HQ, Guard house, and many more. Also in the package are 2 simple AI flightplans for both Church Fenton and Linton-on-Ouse. Extra Aircraft will be required, and are explained in the extensive documentation.

Grindstone Island grass strip New York and the St. Lawrence River

File Description:
Grindstone Island is in the St. Lawrence River and an area known as 1,000 Islands, close to Lake Ontario. I am posting it here along with Maxson as they are close, although at the Grindstone Island strip there is absolutely nothing except a grass runway. I have no idea who uses it or how often, but it is there. And now it is here too.

Road 7 farm strip near Lake Ontario in Canada

File Description:
Road 7 farm strip is some 15 miles east of Oshawa and 7 miles north of Lake Ontario, and as its name suggests it is next to county road 7. Just one of the hundreds that are waiting to be included into FS; if only there was more time in the day!
