FS 2004 Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches - Volume 56. I am constantly amazed by the high number of simers that restrict their flying activities to small localized areas, never venturing much further than their own backyards. I can't help thinking that they miss out on some truly great flying experiences by confining themselves to such limited parameters. If nothing else, Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches will get you out more! Whether you are simply a local pilot flying within your own well-worn neighbourhood, or a demanding adventurous international aviator, there's something for everyone in these volumes. For the new simer I have included some very easy approaches, and for the army of case-hardened veterans who think they have seen and done it all - let me tell you now - you haven't! I'll introduce you to approaches that will leave you absolutely flabbergasted - and may I add, begging for more! Each volume contains (10) difficult and dangerous approaches which are set up for you – all you have to do is fly them! I have also included a special ~ (STAR) ~ approach in each volume - which is a gem of an approach that will thrill and amaze you. If you've always wanted to know where all the difficult and dangerous approaches could be found in MSFS 2004, but never new where to look, I've discovered them all - and now I'm sharing them with you. Lens flare addon

File Description:
New lense flare effect created by Eitan Daniel and modified by Vincent van Veen. This will improve the look of your lens flare, halo and corona. This file continues to build on the previous version (lensflare_version_3.zip not required) and improves it by a great deal. Especially the look and size of the sun have been improved. It's best used WITHOUT the sun glare effect.

Liberty Ship v2

File Description:
This is a working model of a Liberty Ship. During WWII, these ships were mass produced in record time to help end the shortage of cargo ships. They handled over 25% of the shipping in WWII and many continued in service for several decades later. Today, only two Liberty Ships are left - the John W. Brown and the Jeremiah O'Brien. This is a multi-resolution working model complete with a virtual cockpit, a waving flag, smoke and sound effects.

Connecting to VATSIM - HTML Version

File Description:
Here is a tutorial for beginners who want to connect to VATSIM, but dont know how to. This is my updated HTML version taken from my MS Word file (on avsim: cnctvatsim.zip). Special notice inside for all VAs etc who wish to re-distribute it for pilots. Images included for easy-to-understand steps. Now included are links to the software, and a few minor mistakes have been corrected. You have to extract the HTML file and folder to a temporary location for it to work (for Images to appear). Good luck!

Active ILS - KDEN

File Description:
As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as KDEN (Denver International Airport 16R/34L) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for AI Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway and will now vector your AI Traffic to a FS9 stock ILS runway. This file adds all NAVAIDS for making 16R/34L a Precision Instrument Runway by adding all the radar fixes for both the ILS approach portion and the proper missed approach procedures, altitudes and intersections as per current published plates. All AI Aircraft will now continue to use 16R/34L when Airport conditions are less than 3 miles.
