World Challenge Western Brazil

File Description:
In this challenge you need to pack a lunch with you. There are some long hauls in this challenge and you start at night with with your light fully on. You will have to get above 3000 feet quickly to keep for hitting the egde of the mountain. For this challenge you will need to use the Beechcrafts King Air, Baron 58, Cessna C182S Skylane, and Mooney Bravo. These are the only aircrafts you can use for this challenge. I have included a NAV Log so you know what airfield to fly to. You are going deep into the Amazon Jungle and then from there into Paraguay where the challenge dont stop there. So get ready for some fun and Oh watch the tree top when you land.

World Challenge Suriana

File Description:
Suriana a beautiful country to do the next challenge in. Here you find yourself flying over rivers to make a landing and flying though the mountain region. Most flight can be done with a Extra 300s but to enjoy the beauty of this country take a Cessna,Baron,or piper. I have added maps and some very useful information about some of the airfields you will be flying into. There are only 8 airfields that you will be flying into, but only five of them are dirt landing strips. This is part of the eastern challenge three country swing going into Brazil.

1945 - Harry Levy's Flight - Oban, Scotland to Dar-es-Salaam, Tanganyika in an RAF Sunderland MkV

File Description:
At 1805 hours GMT on April 2nd. 1945 an RAF Short Sunderland Mk.V took off from the waters of the flying boat base near Oban, in Scotland. With the war in Europe nearly over, men and materiel were being transferred to the Far East, where Japan continued to defend its home islands with great ferocity and determination. The ten-man crew of the Sunderland included young Harry Levy, the navigator. Harry, now a resident of Canberra, Australia, was a Sergeant in the RAAF attached to an RAF aircrew and was being transferred to Dar-es-Salaam to join 259 Squadron, RAF. Their trip was to take them some 6000 nautical miles, over a period of 20 days (with a lot of that being spent in Gibraltar whilst engine repairs were carried out) and with more than 48 hours spent aloft. They departed Britain in the springtime and arrived in east Africa in autumn. This is the FS9 recreation of that journey.

1926 - East Friesland Islands

File Description:
Set in 1926, this compact flight sees you flying a Junkers W-33b on your twice-weekly "milk-and-bread" run from Emden and through the islands, including Heligoland (or "Helgoland") before terminating at Borkum, the western-most island in the German Frisian islands. Your flightplan takes you in an anti-clockwise direction and you terminate at Borkum. There is no schedule...if you feel like having a chat with the locals en-route, feel free to do so, just so long as you get to Borkum to pick up the mail before the Post Office closes. :) Additional scenery files are required :- ostfr40.zip and helgol09.zip. World Challenge Guyana

File Description:
This challenge picks up where the Eastern Venenzuela left off at. This time which aircraft you pick matters, Because you will keep the same aircraft until you reach Brazil. Its a three country swing challenge. Here in Guyana watching your flight level matters big time, some places have will have you taking off from a flight level of 554ft and trying to climb to a flight level of 2400ft just to clear the mountain rigde ahead without smacking it the side of the mountain. or trying to slow yourself down in time to keep from sailing off the end of the landing strip right off the edge of a cliff. A Navigation Log comes with your flight plan that I have included.

World Challenge Paraguay

File Description:
The Western part of the challenge keeps going this time its the country of Paraguay. A beautiful country at heart. Here in this challenge where taking a tour of this country counts. Keep low flight level below 10,000 feet to see the wonders of this country. The challenge starts in the early morning hours to beat traffic out the gates. I have loaded up a lot of information about the country as well as the airports. There is also information that I have added for converting Nautical miles to miles and a convertion calculator program to help you add it all up. Have a great flight.

File Description:
Eastern Brazil. A challenge in its own, Here I have aloud you to use Dash, ATR's,and Saab for your aircrafts. You can downloaded them here on Avsim. Alot of the flights are very long. You start at night agine and work your way across the eastern part of Brazil you will go thought Uruguay and thats where your challenge will end and then its off to Argentina to begine that challenge. I have included alot of informations about the eastern part of the country and some useful information about the airports.
