Delivered in May 2012 to Turkish Airlines, this Airbus A330-343X "TC-JRN" is the latest with Rolls-Royce engines for THY. The airline decided to switch for General Electric engines. Textures in high resolution and totally reworked for FS2004 and FSX. New flaps and interior textures for the CLS A330. Texture file only, model from Commercial Level Simulations is required. This is a repaint of the excellent Project Opensky Bombardier CRJ-700ER model, in Nordica livery, ES-ACF. Model included. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Project Opensky, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Grumman Albatross HU-16 2.1; Greg Pepper Michael Verlin; US Marines UF-1 137900; MCAS Iwakuni 1961-62.
My thanks to John Detrick who repainted this aircraft for the Virtavia FSX version of the Albatross. His repaint served as source material for my repaint. I have been unable to find any photographs of this aircraft. According to the information from John's repaint, this was the only Albatross in Marine colors. It was stationed at Iwakuni during the period noted above.
The paint scheme is Engine Gray, International Orange and Black and White. The lettering is in the Long Beach USN font, in common with US Navy versions of this aircraft.
