File Description: In October 2019 United and Bombardier unveiled a new type of regional aircraft, the CRJ-550, in an effort to improve the regional flying experience and adapt to scope clause restrictions. Based on the CRJ-700 frame, the CRJ-550 seats 50 passengers, but features a first class cabin, economy plus, extra carry-on storage space in the cabin, and a snack bar. The CRJ-550 fleet is primarily based out of United's ORD hub, operated by regional partner GoJet Airlines. United and GoJet plan to expand the fleet to 54 aircraft by mid-2020, and also move into the carrier's EWR and IAD hubs. Painted here on the POSKY CRJ-700 model. Enjoy!
